I am going into for a pre-op appointment on Thursday for a laparoscopy for pain in my lower abdomen. I had this procedure done when I had my gall bladder out, but didn't know, since this is only exploratory if they would use the same anesthetic. I was completely knocked out for the gall bladder surgery. Does anyone know if they knock you out or is it where they just make you not feel anything but keep you awake.

i have had ache for 3 years now.
and i hate it
i never had it really bad but it still makes me feel bad about myself.
everytime it goes away..it comes back a week or 2 later.
can someone help me.
i have tried pro-active and it doesnt really work.
what you are suggest?

Even when I type this question I have to wait for it to catch up, and then it keeps flagging up programs not responding then it sends an error report. Any ideas what I can do to speed it up, it was fine yesterday.

In the very back of my mouth (behind all other teeth that have come in) my gum has gotten very swollen on top (where a tooth would come up). It is also very tender and that area of my jaw (bottom left) is sore, not sharp pain, just a little ache-y. I recently got Xrays to see where my wisdom teeth were, and when they should be coming in. I don't remember how soon the doctor said, but I do remember seeing them very close to the surface (like six months ago, at least what I thought was close to the surface). I have a dentist appointment next week, but I'm wondering if this is normal for incoming wisdom teeth or if I should be concerned.

I mean beyond being organized? I know someone who writes down EVERYTHING, even things that occur weekly like garbage pick-up and milk delivery. To-do lists, long-term goal list, daily lists, lists for the kids, and post-it's everywhere. Is there something bigger going on here?

She is 35 yrs old, but has kept lists since childhood. It seems to have gotten worse over the last several years.

When she isn't able to write things down she is always asking people to "remind her" of things. She either will not or can not trust herself to remember anything.

What if science proves later that this is some mental illness?
