You know how we all think to ourselves? Well do you ever pray to God, or think to him in your head?

What if science proves later that this is some mental illness?

How would you feel about that? And if God is proven not to exist with evidence (impossible), would many of you shrivel up and die?

I'm not pointing my finger at anybody, so don't point the finger at me.

I'm not saying God doesn't exist, i'm asking you what would you do if it's been proven that this was just some kind of mental defense mechanism.

If you are an athiest-you don't believe in god/religion, you've got nothing to worry about.

The bible was written way too long ago. Government, culture, has changed. However most religions stick to what's in the old books.

If God is present, wouldn't he be with "present times"? Answer the question already, I know the consequences if I don't believe in him.

There are people dying from hunger and children being tortured all around the world and you are concerned with my prayers to God? Why do you care if someone else believes in God? If we want to spend time fellowshipping in church and reading our Bible in order to become a better human being, how does that affect you? There is no reason to insult those of us who choose to believe in God. I am not going off on you because you don't believe. Just leave well enough alone. I am sure you can find something more productive to worry about.

Do you pray to God? Ask him to help you in your time of need?
Have you asked family & friends to pray for you?
Have science proved or given sound explanation of those you died and returned from the dead? Spoken of their experiences goging to heaven/hell...met with dead relatives, family members and returned to the land of the living.
Are you an imortal that will not die one day? When you have aged and old, you are not shrivelled up?

Considering about 90% of the world consider there is some kind of 'God', I doubt that science could ever say that everyone is suffering from some kind of mental illness.

This specific question is actually talked about (for about 10 seconds) in one of the trial scenesfrom the movie "Contact" with Jodie Foster.

You know, come to think of it I've been around elderly sinners who lost their minds and elderly Christians who lost theirs. You know which ones were cussing and cranky and whining and hard to please and needing restrained all the time?? You guessed it; those who were sinners when they lost their faculties. You see, even a fool, someone without understanding, can understand God because God talks to the HEART! Many a drug addict who burned their minds out on drugs accepted Jesus Christ and began meditating on the Word of God and they have their memories back. I personally know a lady who was on drugs off and on most of her life and was down to like under 90 lbs and only had a small percentage of one kidney working and couldn't keep any food down for many days. She is eating fine since she got saved in her sick bed at home and Christians prayed for her and is gaining weight. Jesus restored the lunatics who were full of devils from the young boy who behaved like an epileptic Sybil of his day to the completely nutty man who had an entire legion of devils in his head. Yep, being without God can make you lose your natural mind alright. Frightening I say. The demoniac who kept tearing his clothes off and which they couldn't keep chained and who lived in the tombs, when he met Jesus Christ of Nazareth he was found clothed and in his RIGHT mind. Jesus in your heart is the only way to be in your RIGHT mind! Are your sins covered by the blood of Jesus today?

Since we already have demonstrable proof of his existence, it's a wasted effort speculating about science proving that he doesn't.

(Besides, there are atheists like that "Inspector Free Thinker" dude who think this proof already exists in the lack of evidence that he does. If you close your eyes long enough, you can get yourself to agree with him.)
