My dad has had chronic coughing for about 3 years. Occasionally he doesn't cough for a few days, but some days he coughs so much he wakes up at night. He doesn't cough up blood, just regular coughing, but sometimes it's really strong. Doctors aren't sure about why he coughs so much because he's in near perfect health. Some say it's because of allergies, but my dad took allergy medicine and it hasn't improved his condition. This one doctor said it's an aftermath from a cold that wasn't properly cured, however another doctor said that's impossible. I'm worried for my dad and it pains me to see him cough so much, especially in public when he has to suppress his cough because i know it hurts him to do so....

If anyone has had any similar problems or know any good medicine please tell me. And if you have any insight on his condition also please inform me that would be great!

for those of you who dont know texas has been goin thru its arctic blast since i think the end of last week, i a very commited bball player and i enjoy every minute of practicing i was wondering if u dont practice for a few days will u be rusty. i've been going outside these last 2 days but i got nothing out of it becuz either it was too cold or its was rainy, i was also wondering since before this arctic freeze i was really good at 3 pointers and yesterday i had to lean a bit into my shot to make it go in, once the cold has gone will i not have to lean into my shot to make it go in?

My reading of this "Creatinine" was 141. I'll heard there is no medicine in bringing down the level, just by diet. How true ?

I'm going with the "I'm a dick head who keeps asking questions about being naked" series.

And you can't say this is the stupidest question, because you won't get your two points if you do. I have contacts.

I don't mean in the textbook sense... what makes us different from animals? Do we maintain a certain level of consciousness even if we're dead? Can we move up or down the scale of consciousness?

I have a three y/o st bernard female that we got a week ago as a rescue. The people that were taking care of her said that it took some time to get her to eat dog food as her previous owner only fed her people food. She has not eaten in five days except some wet dog food off of a butter knife (like a kid eating peanut butter). Today I handed her one peice at a time of dry dog food until she ate...and I figured out her problem. She has such a big mouth, and such big jouls, that she has a real hard time with keeping the peice in her mouth as she chews. She is on kibbles and chunks right now...not the stuff by olroy, but the actual kibbles and chunks. Should I be finding a food with bigger peices to make it easier for her to bite, or should I find smaller peices so she can take a mouthful and chew. Is this normal for a St. Bernard to have trouble chewing because she is so clumsy with her mouth. Please help, I don't want her to get sick!
