It means Pie Girl that he has a cutey at the side. As I told someone before give him a BIG space, and let him come around to acting normal again. If not then give him an even Bigger space. first of all.. why do you say in your question " i KNOW we will NEVER be together " ... you need to get some self-esteem because you aren't ready for a relationship even if you wanted one if you are thinking like that about yourself. and you didn't say HOW he was acing different so i can't really say for sure. but if he is acting different as the crush signs then he obviously most likely LIKES YOU... that is what it means plain and simple. TALK TO HIM....
