Okidoki.
For this question we shall be working in GB £'s
Here goes:

3 friends meet at a road. They each have £10 in their pocket.
At the junction of the road, they see a Car Dealers with a car on display, for sale, very cheap at £30.
They decide to buy it and put their money together.
They see the Sales Assistant to buy it and he takes their money and goes to get the keys.
As he retrieves them the Manager calls to him and informs him that the £30 car should now be sold at £25.
The assistant returns to the 3 men and tells them the car has a discount and gives each man £1 change. The other £2 (from the £5 reduction) goes in the assistants pocket as his 'cut'.
Now, the men have had £1 change, so as they started with £10, they have actually paid £9 each.
This is straightforward until you look a little closer.
3 men pay £9 each for a car. That means the car cost £27 (3 X 9 = 27).
The assistant kept £2 of the total making £29. (27 + 2 = 29)

WHO HAS THE MISSING £1.....?

By this I mean, do you think you can find the "special" someone online. There are a lot of crazy people, but is it possible to that "special" person. Or should it just be better to stick to the old fashion way of meeting them in person first?

I’m sick of hearing sanctimonious Brits complaining about Americans and talking down to us. Some of the crap often spouted by Brits:

1 Yanks are overweight
2 Yanks are loud
3 Yanks are racist
4 Yanks are religious Bible-bashers

Lets dispell these myths

1. Yes, many Americans are fat. But I've been to the UK and lots of Brits are fat, too. I live in Northern California and there are few fat ppl here. BTW, Britain is 3RD in the world for obesity: http://www.nationmaster.com/graph/hea_obe-health-obesity

2 Americans may be loud, but so are lots of Brits. Ever been in the UK when the World Cup is on? You'll see lots of loudmouthed, arrogant flagwavers

3 Racists do exist in the US, but its also a problem in Britain. I heard lots of bigotry directed at Asians when I was there

4 Americans are Bible-bashers? You Brits have an entire REGION (ie N. Ireland) where Protestants & Catholics fight over religion like it was the 15th Century.

Get off your high horses, Brits.

should we also include The Lakota Creation as a valid theory?

It starts like this:

In the beginning, prior to the creation of the earth, the gods resided in an undifferentiated celestial domain and humans lived in an indescribably subterranean world devoid of culture. Chief among the gods were Takushkanshkan ("something that moves"), the Sun, who is married to the Moon, with whom he has one daughter, Wohpe ("falling star"); Old Man and Old Woman, whose daughter Ite ("face") is married to Wind, with whom she has four sons, the Four Winds.

Don't look at me for it, it isn't my theory. But wouldn't it be fair if your God gets a place in our schools as a valid theory, that we include this Lakota Creation story as well?

I have many friends in the armed services, and I would be there also if I didn't go directly into a profession after High School.

And contrary to Senator Kerry's belief, my friends that are serving, and I, are from Middle/Upper Middle Class familys and are highly intelligent.

I was born in New York and am stilling living here. I just got done with college and would like to pursue a career in politics, as that is where my passion is. My goal is to be the Governor one day.

I am an honest person and was thinking about just coming clean at the start so they know who I am. I don’t have anything against religion, just how people use it.

Do you think I have a chance?

I have recently got my first job and am on my own for the first time. I went to the grocery store and during my purchases bought some cat litter and put it on the bottom of the cart.
When i checked out I forgot to tell them about the cat litter, and hence when i walked out of the store the alarm went off!! The manager pressed charges despite my repeated offerings to pay for the cat litter!!
He said "punk teenagers like you have to learn, stealing is wrong"

This guy has insulted me and mocked me, I need revenge, but I dunno what to do!?
does anyone know how to bring down a grocery store from the inside out??
