Here you go Babylon, have six months of military spending to keep yourselves busy getting food water and electricity rather than compete for bread with each other, we'll be back in six months if things aren't much better by then. Unbelievable faith in manKIND.

Considering that Bush's new plan for Iraq is the same one Johnson came up with in '65 for Nam, you may have something. If we are repeating the mistakes, maybe we should try repeating the solution. Unfortunately, the youth of today don't have the passion we had then, they'd rather just post on the net, you'll never see the kind of protests and rallies that characterized the anti-war movement of the '60s.

It wasn't just the hippies. It was everyone, mothers, fathers, GI's college students and musicians. The war effected everyone in the US in one way or another http://kent.state.tripod.com/. Politicians were corrupt as they are today. The people spoke and the war ended. Once again the people are in the cross hairs of disaster. Bush has to go the way of Nixon and our men & women of the military must come home.

It wasn't peaceful for the South Vietnamese who were imprisoned, tortured and murdered by the communists after we left. Not that the hippies ever cared about their fate.

The boys dont want to come home. I have many friends in the Military who have reinlisted to get back to their brothers in arms. And the ones that haven't been there can't wait till they get deployed.

Main arguement all of them have, is they would rather be fighting terrorism over there, than trying to stop a bombing at a local walmart.

BUT THIS TIME, YOU WILL ALL BE DISMISSED AS LIBERALS.

ps: I AM NOT AGAINST THIS GREAT IDEA. BUT IT JUST WON'T WORK IN THIS DAY AND AGE. TOO MUCH DIVISIONS AMONG AMERICANS.
