Okay so my best friend's boyfriend and i are like best friends. Me and him hung out last night at a basketball game with some friends. My best friend didnt want us to hang out because she hasn't hung out with him yet because she is grounded. She found out we hung out and she thinks we made out (which we didn't) and now she won't talk to me. She completly ignores me. Her boyfriend said she's gonna break up with her because he likes someone else. He won't tell me who. I thought it was either me or this girl who kept flirting with him. I know it's bad, but i kinda like him but i def. don't want her to find out! Anyway, how can i get her back? Do you think her boyfriend likes me?

I would like to know how many budgies would fit in my cage I have. The cage is:

Depth: 15 inches
Width: 34.5 inches
Length: 42 inchs. I currently have 3 budgies in it and they are absolutly fine. But I would like maybe one more. They get plenty of exercise outside the cage (about 4 hours a day)

Here is a picture of the cage:

That is quite an old photo of it. It now has much more toys and climbing equipment in it

Jesus is quoted in the bible (Matthew 21:21) as saying, "...if ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done."

Yet, in all of human history, NOBODY (not even Jesus according to the bible) has every moved a mountain and cast it into the sea.

Is it because nobody (not even Jesus) has ever had enough faith? Or was Jesus just making this up?

By and large, government payments (or any payments) encourage behavior, and taxes discourage it.

Some have said that social welfare programs - aid to families with dependent children, etc. - has the effect of "encouraging" lack of work and unwed parenthood. Even FDR said that welfare can have "narcotic effects." (Although I would hope that everyone would favor help for the "truly needy" - but how do we define that?) Therefore it's possible to say that welfare can encourage behvior that society disfavors.

So my question is, what behavior does "corporate welfare" (such as tax credits tied to oil companies' exploration efforts) encourage? And what behaviors would removing these credits discourage?

Is one system rewarding work and effort, and the other discouraging it?

"The president does not have the authority to launch military action in Iran without first seeking congressional authorization," Senate Democratic leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., told the National Press Club.

This is completely false. The President DOES have the authority to attack Iran. The Democrats could say that they wouldn't support an attack on Iran or that they would stop funding or that they would try to impeach Bush but instead they chose to lie.

I am taking an Art History class at school and my teacher brought up a number (1.67) that the Greeks found out is the number of beauty. I was wondering if anyone else knew anymore about this? Or even the formula to calculate beauty? It is fascinating to me as I am an art major.

I'm 21 and out of jail 3 weeks. My ex g/f who is 20 and at home had our baby while I was in jail and I couldn't get special release to see the baby. She would not bring the baby on a visit so I didn't get to see him until I got out. She doesn't want me to support her or to have anything to do with the baby until I've finished my probation (another year at least) and I know if I try to do anything about that I could get into bother again. Is there anything I can do to make her more reasonable? It's still my kid after all.
