Yes, especially for younger children because the specimens are little - like the children - and they have a fairy tale atmosphere .... without the wicked witches ....

....they are especially good if they are blooming species, because the children can watch the blossoms developing ...

....it puts the children very close to nature ... often right on the table or bookcase, or wherever a parent keeps them or works on them ... and if there are other elements, like moss that sports a little extra thing or two like mine which had tiny grasses and little things that bloomed .. terrific!

Also, it puts children in touch with something from a different culture... and a beautiful thing at that ... very important for them

you probably did the right concern by technique of going to early intervention. i will not say adequate good things about this technique. My daughter became 18 months and did not say something after I called. She examined above her age factor for each thing yet her speech. She is now in basic terms about 3 and is speaking away! She became disregarded from facilities some months. yet another concern that somewhat helped with my daughter became preparation her indications. I taught her some problem-free indications (more effective,eat,milk) so as that she had a thanks to communicate. It somewhat helped her frustration and it regarded like once she discovered the indicators she began declaring the be conscious alongside with it.

It would really depend on the ages of your kids. My sister has been doing Bonsai for years and it can get really expensive and time consuming. But they are so beautiful.
