Why do the Democrats lie and manipulate instead of just arguing their positions based on facts?

This is completely false. The President DOES have the authority to attack Iran. The Democrats could say that they wouldn't support an attack on Iran or that they would stop funding or that they would try to impeach Bush but instead they chose to lie.

Gotta remember how the liberal side of American politics is based upon appealing to the desires of the American people rather than their needs. Social Security, Universal Health Care, and the War in Iraq all fall into this.

Because they don't know the law. They only know what works for them and thats getting people mad over things they know nothing about.
BTW, Democrats and anit-war people: Did you know Cindy Sheehan had nothing to do with her son til he got murdered in Iraq???? SHe had signed him over to his father years ago . . .
