Does anyone remember this series. When DsTv was introduced in SA years ago we had the "Carlton Select" channel - nowadays BBP Prime. We then saw the series BIRDS OF A FEATHER. the two sisters whose husbands are in jail and their neighbour who was a real flirt (lightly put). I thoroughly enjoyed it. The one sister - the dark haired one could be seen in the I think THE OFFICE series if I am not mistaken.

My old high school friend (she has had a hard life) was convicted of 5 narcotics felonies and 1 felony for welfare fraud. She was sent to Chowchilla Prison for women for 2 years for the drug charges (2 years for each of the 5 convictions, should be 10 years, however they are to be served concurrently). In addition she got 8 months for the welfare fraud, to be serve consecuetively. How much time will she most likely serve? 2 years and 8 months--because of the concurrent sentencing OR 1 year and 4 months (50% of the time off for good behavior--if she does indeed behave well in prison--this is her first time in prison, she is 34 years old with 3 kids under the age of 18)? Hey, ive become very confused, see i have liked a girl for about 3 years and she feels the same about me but we have never got togeather because she lives so far away, but now i see her quite alot and my feelings for her and getting stronger and harder to ignore! You are a visitor in an insane asylum and you are being given the tour by the medical team.
After viewing the wards, the kitchen and various other facilities, you are taken to a bathroom.
There's a bath in there and it's filled with water.
Beside the bath are 3 items, a teaspoon, a teacup and a bucket.
You enquire as to the purpose of this.
You are told it is the final test to determine whether an inmate can be released or not, the correct answer and you're free.
Incorrect and it's back to the padded cell, the straightjackets, the electric shocks and all the other good things about being crazy.
And the question is, and remember, there's a teaspoon, a teacup and a bucket there but just how will you empty the water out of the bath?

I've been given the task of trying to find a suitable carpet to put down in our communal hall/stairs in my block of flats. It has to be be really hard wearing, with an lifetime of about 12 years i think. Only problem is i ain't got a clue where to start!! i assume i can't buy these types of carpets in my local shop? does anyone know where to buy hard wearing carpets? like office carpets i guess? any help you can give would be appreciated!

he had stopped taking calls & responding 2 txt msgs, bit less than a wk ago, finnally got thru 2 him yesterday because he didnt kno it was me. says that he feels like hes leading me on & just dosen't feel right i had considered it over not long after the communication stopped. but he spoke 2 me on msn not long before i had 2 go 2 work & says that we should talk after the weekend, (we're both working)

& i do truely think that he will miss me, we got on so well & i would buy the drinks & chocolate 4 him that he can have because hes a diabetic, lil things like that.

i mean what would he have 2 say? he doesnt love me like that anymore, i dont think it would just be 2 exchange our stuff, so i dont kno

I am in my late 40's, and not interested in further legal work. My resume is excellent scholastically and in my career, where I spent 15 years as a senior research attorney for the highest court of my state (one of the best regarded state Courts). I enjoy the analytical process of research -- both online and off -- and equally enjoy writing clearly and simply for easy understanding. I would like to use these skills to answer people's questions in a way that benefits them and society. My greatest pleasure comes when I know I am helping others, directly and one-on-one. I am very charity-minded, but I would like to have a modest income, not riches. How can I combine my idealism and skills for a second career I would enjoy?

Oddly, I've found the experience here on Yahoo Answers (under a different account) very pleasant, although I would like more depth to my work. Unfortunately, YA only pays in points!
