Does anyone remember this series. When DsTv was introduced in SA years ago we had the "Carlton Select" channel - nowadays BBP Prime. We then saw the series BIRDS OF A FEATHER. the two sisters whose husbands are in jail and their neighbour who was a real flirt (lightly put). I thoroughly enjoyed it. The one sister - the dark haired one could be seen in the I think THE OFFICE series if I am not mistaken.

where the sister (the fat one- sorry i forgot what her name was) where she becomes a model?
and her freind (the dark hair woman, who wears fake tan) she was so so jealous, that her freind was a model, and was shocked the fact she was fat and was modelling!!!

The dark haird sister was Pauline Quirk. the light haired one Linda Robson and the flirty neighbour was Lesley Joseph... I hope that helps!

Yes it was very popular in England and ran over a number of years. It was the portrayal of Essex Girls... from what I remember the more common girls moved into the more 'upperclass' area of Essex (Chigwell) and it was about their daily lives.. with the husbands in Jail.
Was a very good series :)

I love that show. You are referring to Sharon , who was married to Chris Theodopolous.
Her sister was Tracy, who was married to Daryl Stubbs. They had a son named Garth.
Their neighbour was Dorien Green.

Yes.. I remember it very much... I loved it very much so too... Think you can get the box set in Virgin Megastore.. think i seen it a while back...
