Can someone explain for my daughter, why the strawberries (and presumably other fruit does also) in a tub of strawberry yoghurt rise to the top of the container? We would like to understand the physics of it. I have noticed that the same thing happens with cans of beans and yet when making a cake, the fruit tends to sink.

Even tried to save it (from the internet) as All Files and type the ext GIF and Save. When I click on the saved animated GIF, it is just a plain pic, no movement. I have XP and Office 2000.

If I want to save an ordinary pic, I get more options!! Thanks for any help given.

Is psychology an attempt to control society by defining what normal behavior is and to stigmatize those who do not display that behavior? When we give pills to people for depression or ADD, are we medicating them into conformity? Are these valid diseases or genuine emotional responses? Also can we be held responsible for are actions or are our misbehaviors the result of an improper chemical balance in our brains?

my daughter was arrested for failure to appear in court although she really didnt have to be in court that day cause her lawyer had postponed it to another day. the lawyer claims the clerk of court made a mistake. i paid $300 to a bondsman to get her out of jail. Can I make the court system reimburse me that money if the lawyer provides me with the paperwork he submitted to them proving she didnt have court on the date they stated she didnt appear?

Hey everyone. I'm 14...I don't like the stereotypes about all teens in America. for example, the snobby daddy's girl, the loner, the druggies, and the couch potatoes. Society is too degrading on us.

We are made out to be a bunch of idiots with way to many hormones. We'd have sex at every party. We'd become drunk and get STDs.

It's just not true!
