My boyfriend & I were having sex & I began to get dry in my genital area. It began to hurt but we continued to go at it, 2 days later I felt a little irritated & itchy.

you shouldnt get a yeast infection from this but it is possible to have a yeast infection if u have a thick white discharge and continued itching then it is really possible go to ur doctor if this is ur first yeast infection if u have these symptoms if u dont have these symptoms then is possible that u r just irritated any time u have a strange symptom after unportected sex u need to get checked for stds

When you have dry sex, you get your underwear very moist. If you leave those panties on then you are providing a very good breeding area for yeast bacteria. The best thing to do is after you are finished is to change your underwear and pee. :)

no moisture brings on a yeast infection next time use some lube or more foreplay

It will hurt and could cause infection. use lube every time is the best bet.
