She is living with a guy who treats her like crap. He always talks down to her and he doesn't put any effort into their "relationship". She told me today that they are fighting all the time now because she is finally standing up for herself. I don't know why she stays with him! He treats her like she's stupid and he tells her what she can and cannot do! Everytime I try to talk to her about why she puts up with him she always comes up with an excuse, almost like she is in denile! HELP! What do I do? She won't leave him! She won't listen to me!

Hi, I live in U.S. and I wanted to ask about the pubs that I saw when I was on holiday there . I think people in England dont look down on pubs like they do here in u.s.. we call them bars . I enjoyed the lively social interaction you could find at an english pub. and you didnt find all trash there , like you mostly find in bars in u.s., the people were much friendlier as well, you could talk about deep subjects , history, politics etc. and find intelligent conversation. as well as just random conversation with strangers. Here in u.s. if you go to a bar, you better bring your own friends because the people are less friendly and accomodating to strangers and open as well as the english in their pubs. what is your thoughts about this?

I have sleep maintainance problems and sometimes sleep onset problems. I have stopped taking herbal remedies they sometimes help but they have not stopped my sleep problems. Im thinking about taking phamacuticals but Im worried about side effects such as addiction and tolerance. MAybe they will only help in the short term and my insomnia will rebound. Should I take them? Did they help you at all?

So liberals are obviously leftist by definition of the political spectrum. If you're intellectually honest, then you have to admit the state sponsors of terrorism are actually extreme right in their reactionary views to keep their countries centuries behind the rest of the Progressive movement (women's rights, voters' rights, legal system, secularization, etc.). Me and this female used to be really good friends, even were roommates ( she was a horrible roommate too, used to leave my apartment a mess and let her dog shyt all in its cage all day). I had known her for over 3years and I thought we shared a pretty good bond. That is until she started using me and taking advantage of my kindness, but never being there for me when I needed her, so I decided that the friendship was over ( it got pretty ugly too). Long story short, we fell out of friendship, I tried a few times to rebuild it, but she would just curse me and ask me to forget her number, and so I did. Now, 3mons later I get a text out of the blue saying "Do you want my dog? If not I'm taking him to the home on Friday, because I'm leaving." Honestly, it's a good dog and I'd hate to see it possibly go to the pound and never come out. But I'm wonderign why me of all people was asked to take him. What would you do in this situation? I have my own dog now too?
