So liberals are obviously leftist by definition of the political spectrum. If you're intellectually honest, then you have to admit the state sponsors of terrorism are actually extreme right in their reactionary views to keep their countries centuries behind the rest of the Progressive movement (women's rights, voters' rights, legal system, secularization, etc.). So why do the Liberals act like Ahmadinejad is their best friend? Is it just their hatred of the current administration?

a few examples:

Liberals hold Support Palestine rallies vice supporting the only functioning democracy in the middle east, Israel;

Liberals often deny the War on Terror's necessity, and often echo Michael Moore's thoughts that 9/11 was either a conspiracy or such a rarity that chances are: he has nothing to worry about;

the ACLU sued an airport recently to establish prayer rooms for only Muslims so that they can honor their prayer schedule, but seek to eliminate prayer and any religious themed articles from every other part of public life...

Dingdong, quite the appropriate name for someone with answers like that... listing a bunch of countries is not providing any evidence of state-sponsored terrorism. You must not understand the word if you think that any actions by the United States are terrorism...

I don't think it's senseless to question why those with a purported leftist ideology would support the causes of patently extreme rightists...

Personally, I consider myself libertarian as I am ideologically opposed to the fundamental premise of government controlling anything... Is that the "only valid" spectrum because you say so? The 1-d "political" spectrum is based on the presupposition that government exists and therefore anarchy and libertarians are outside of that spectrum. The political spectrum has socialist communism on one end and fascism on the other. The far left is called "Radical" and the far right is called "Reactionary." In calling them "radical conservative," I used the more banal term radical meaning extreme, not politically Radical. If you redefine the spectrum to 2-d with room for anarchy and libertarians, then you'd have the Pournelle Chart... Since you apparently aren't familiar with the many different spectra out there, here's a link to start your research: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Political_spectrum

Fester, if you actually READ what I wrote, wikipedia was not my source at all... It was a recommendation as a start for researching political spectra...

I don't think you know what you are talking about. Where would you put the Libertarians? Where would YOU be?

Contrary to popular belief, the only valid political spectrum looks like this:

Extreme Left: All totalitarian systems, Communism, Nazism
then Fascism
then Socialism
then Neo-Cons

moving to the right, we have true Conservatives (advocates of limited government)
next we have Libertarians (minimal government)
and at the Extreme Right: Anarchy (no government).

Where did you ever hear the term "radical conservative"?

For your information, terrorism is a tactic, it is not an ideology. State terrorism has been used by a multitude of political systems.
On the Extreme Right is Anarchy (no government)
the Libertarian
then Conservatives

No country in modern times has sponsored more state terrorism than the US. Columbia, Bolivia, Cuba, Afghanistan, Nicaragua, Philipines, Palestine, Iraq (pre invasion) Somalia, Grenada. I could go on but i`ll spare you the boredom.
Yes i do understand the word.
Arming the opposition forces of a democratically elected government and supplyiong them with the resources to act out a military coup is terrorism by any definition you want to find, my friend. This is precicely what the holier- than- thou United States has done for decades. Don`t kid youself, the US is the biggest protagonist in terrorism anywhere on earth.

Yes, it must be their hatred of the US, because conservative Islam is pro-life, anti-porn, pro family, anti-drug and is more consistent with conservative Christian causes than liberalism is.

Radical left also reduces rights, like freedom of religion and freedom of press, and speech, and etc. Radical is radical, the terrorists may be radical left, idk.
