I'm going to the gym 4-5 times a week. Doing a minimum of 2 hours each time. I do cardio, weights and yoga. I'm watching what i eat and i'm just not losing anything. I have been doing this for 1 month now and nothing! Why?!?!? Not even a pound! :(

My 20-yr-old boyfriend-thing-whatever seems to have the misconception that it is alright to make a girl fall in love with him for about six months, when things are going just peachy & fine, and then all of a sudden decide he wants to break up 'cause he doesn't want to deal with his future as well as a relationship. He really is a good guy, but I think his upbringing has had some weird effects on his mind, his family being hardcore Christians & him having rebelled some when he was younger. I've always known he's had problems & insecurities, but he did the same thing with me that he did with his last girlfriend two years ago--who is also a good friend of mine. Before, I was so broken up that all I wanted was for him to take me back, which he did after two days, & he even admitted to being happier again! But now he's saying that he simply doesn't want a relationship & doesn't want to make it work even though we could. I don't ******* understand this at all. Is there anything I can do?

I have started at the gym. I am running on the mill three times a week. My legs and butt are comming along nicely but, I think that my upper body does not get the full benefit from that. How can I maintain it up top too? Which is the best process? Any ideas?

my Question is - im learning on my own so was wondering in some sheet music theres an extra treble cleff stave? ie you have your left playing double bass and your right playing treble cleff - either i need to grow a new arm or thats there for another reason? any help will be fab. thanks.

Hi i have tried for years to get rid of blackheads that i have on my nose,cheeks and chin i have spent so much money on products that don't work my last trial was clinique which done nothing,i am 22 and discovered another skin regime which consists of purpose derma soap,quinoderm (benzoyl peroxide) cream,then moisturiser which i have noticed has completely cleared me of spots i never get a break out but i still have loads of blackheads that just won't go away please help i want to stop using quinoderm soon as i have read it could cause cancer?

Last week my best friend had both his NY teams lose, and I felt bad for him, but I was feeling pretty good inside because my team won. Now because of some stupid plays, the Seahawks lost, and I feel pretty depressed. How do you get over these games, when your team losses, it feels like a part of you...dies.

I've posted this under the general health heading, but I would like some thoughts from those in favor of natrual remedies. over the weekend i was having terrible sinus headaches. i started flushing out my sinuses with salt water and the headache was gone by sat night. this morning i keep having a sharp pain in my ear. is this related to the sinus pain? i have no fever or other symptoms of anything. is it possibly an ear infection even though i don't have fever or just an earache? i really don't want to be put on antibiotics and i know if i go to the doc i will be whether i need them or not.

Over the holidays, people in Nebraska and Colorado were hit with back-to-back ice storms in which the destruction equalled that of a category 5 hurricane. Thousands of people were and still are w/o heat, running water, etc., and are stranded inside and outside of their homes. Not to mention the deaths. This storm has caused millions of dollars of damage. My question is why hasn't the media covered this story as extesnsively as they covered (and still are covering) Katrina? Why weren't the people of these states out there demanding FEMA come and help them. Where was the robbing, raping and looting, and murdering? Why weren't the people out there blaming the gov't for this disaster?

Appreciate intelligent answers from all you ladies and gentlemen across the USA...

I'm currently unemployed and debating seriously about getting a divorce. It's not a cut and dry case..(neither of us cheated..or just found out we're gay etc..lol) but, we just don't seem to want the same things in life anymore. One fear I am having...(besides loads of others) is the fear of being able to take care of myself financially. I guess I just would like to hear success stories or failures.
