I am particulary looking for answers from those who smoked for decades. After you quit, did you ever get to the point where you went a whole day or even a few days or a week without thinking about smoking? How long did you smoke and how long after you quit did it take you to get to a level where it was not on your mind?

I had extentions in and took them out with canola oil. Now the oil won't come out of my hair I've washed it like 5 times. Please help! what can I do????

If I was wrongfully terminated because another employee wanted my job, should I tell corporate some other instances that happened with the other employee that were never brought up? I don't want to be a bit** but I don't feel it's fair that I get fired for a little thing and everyone else gets away with these major offenses which were just looked over or not reported as they should have been. Like the employee who is having me fired..was selling adult toys in the backroom of the store! Or, an "elderly"employee who was assulted by a customer that was never reported to corporate, just shrugged off. I could go on. I feel singled out and although I'm not a very vindictive person, I want some sort of "personal" compensation for losing a job that I worked really hard at and was at for a long time. I don't mind losing the job...there are others but the reason for it is just wrong. Would you tell the corporate office or let it slide?

i click for updates, that works, then i click for find prob and fix prob. Then in about a minute after all the purple squares go away and a new set start working their way across the bottom, it gets to about 9 squares and stops. I let it just sit there for about 45 min , it did not want to delete when clicked the X. I went to control panel. to uninstall. Big notice telling me all these dire things that might happen. I do not understand any of it. what do i do. ( I finelly got it closed. forget how. HELP

Ok.. all I remember about the video is that this guy comes home to see his girlfriend with someone else and he has a tattoo of her name and he covers it up. I don't really rememer anything else. I had my thyroid removed last April 2006. It hasn't been followed to closely. My doctor increased my dose of Thyroid but felt it would need to go up more. I have a blood test tomorrow again. I'm having a lot different symptoms right now but no health insurance so I haven't been to the doctor. I'm more tired than I think I should be, It feels like something pushing up into my chest but that happens randomly and it makes me cough sometimes when it does happen, it comes with a little bit of pressure in my chest, I have pain in my right side that hurts all the way through to my back(randomly), my skin is dry, constipation, circles under my eyes. That's just to name a few. Has anyone had issues like these after having thyroid surgery. I realize it might not be related to that but I have this feeling it is. Naturally I wish I had health insurance and could see a good doctor. Hopefully a good job will come and give me my insurance back. Thanks for sharing your experiences!

I got engaged to a wonderful, wonderful woman just last month. We had been dating, kind of on the sly, for over a year. Why on the sly? Because she's black.

Her family is very close and loving, and they have completely accepted me. Her mother could very well be my mother. She is the warmest and most compassionate human being I've ever met, and she passed that on to her daughter, which is why I love her so much.

Here's the problem: I finally introduced her to my family. My mom is okay with it, but my father refuses to speak with me, see me, or acknowledge that I exist. I am an only child, and his actions have torn our family apart.

I love my father, but how can I get him to understand that this is the woman I want to spend the rest of my life with? How can I change his mind?

Not that I've got it down or anything, but as ideal and desirable of a circumstance peace is to the global community, why is it so impossible to realize? Are they cultural, political or purely economical the obstacles hindering the fulfillment of this long-lost notion? Or can it be traced down to basic human interaction?

I am breast feeding and my nipples are so bad that there bleeding when she feeds. I have the yellow cream stuff in the purple tube and i have been trying rubbing the breast milk in them has anyone got any other ideas that help to fixing this problem quickly???

I'm looking for a kit or company that creates peep egg viewers. These were popular, tourist key chain doodads that had a lens on one end and a picture on the other end. You would hold up the viewer to the light and see the picture in the viewer. Thanks.
