For example, I live in a home where I have an open floor plan. I can't count the number of times my friend expressed her feeling about how she hates an open floor plan. I put in a swimming pool, (above the ground) and she said she would NEVER put in a pool. Two years later she put in a built in pool. I drive a benz, she told me her father HATES European cars and that Toyota and Honda are much better. I don't get it. I do not brag about anything I have, yet no matter what I have, she puts it down. Any advice to me?

I'm quite familiar with many toungue twisters in the english language, but I'm curious to know if others are aware of toungue twisters in other languages, or is this simply an interesting tidbit of the english language? I'm familiar with french though I never learned any french toungue twisters. I'm able to read english, spanish, french, italian, and german, (and hebrew when the vowels are written) though I can only speak english with native fluency and french with low-to-moderate fluency.

I wanted to do this with a real hard drive (external) that I have set up. I have a new computer that says it boots from USB, but when I take an old windows HD (that works if put in the IDE slot) it won't boot via USB. Thanks!

The old Mac games are dual platform and typically say Macintosh/Windows 95 or even Windows 3.1. I can't get a read on what, if any, level of Macintosh these are.

The Mac we have does read the disc, shows the game icon, but with a NO symbol over icon, and clicking on .exe will produce the message 'this application is not supported.' It will then ask me to choose an application, but I can't see any in the list they provide that would work to let the games run.

We're very happy with this gift of a Mac from mom, and we'd like to be able to keep playing some of our old games. Thanks so much for your time and ideas.

OK..Long story kind short..My ex and I dated a year and It was great..well at the end..what do ya know Im pregnant!!...I was left alone during my pregnancy so he could party and do his thang..Our child came we got back together..he wasnt ready so he still partied..alot of issues came..but we got threw them..found out months later he was cheating so i ended it..he still came around and we talked as much as we can till the argueing started..and it was always bout what im doing wrong and blah blah..He was drilling it in my head that i was nothing and will never be..but i was a single parent doing the best i can..well months later another girl came into the pic..no time to get over our broken family another female is here to play mama..so 2 yrs later they married and im still gettin disrespected and does everthing for his wife before his own child!!..If i ignore him he and don't answer he calls me names and puts me down!!!...HELP!!

Does it make you mad that they spend days upon days talking about the "Duke Rape Case"...OJ's Book...some celebrity’s latest adoption...and blah blah blah....

Why don't they talk about important stuff...like the implementation of a national ID card that was attached to a bill that was to allocate more money for our troops…or any of the latest and greatest crap that our government is doing?

I get so mad sometimes when I watch the news at the amount of trivial crap that they talk about. Is Angelina’s latest adoption really newsworthy?
