Yes he is still alive, despite battling Hodkins Lymphoma (a form of cancer) and is currently undergoing radiation therapy.
He left the European tour early in November (13th) I was in Manchester and saw it were an angle (storyline) was created were Edge and Orton took Piper out of the match early, this was so that the fans could still see him, but only briefly, so he did not really compete in the tag match alongside Rick Flair, as he was not well. A short while after this he underwent an operation and has something removed from his back (cant remember what it was called) But at this time they discovered the cancer, and due to it being found early, they re optimistic that Piper will make a full recovery, and hopefully return the the ring! I certainally hope so!

Roddy Piper just had to have knee surgery about a month ago, and this was not due to Edge and Orton. He should be back sometime in this half of the year, but if not, it would be alright. He is a legend, after all.

he is not dead....the hot rod as they call him..he is battling with the cancer,,,,,thye found his cancer while just giving him physical after a match ....i think that it was before the Survivor Series....we should wish him luck...
