the encryption is very good on these word documents so I'd be surprised if you coud do it, frankly.

I work for a multinational company. I remember a few years ago there was an embarrassing situation with one of the managers and the company desperately wanted to unlock a word doc that was password protected. The IT department couldn't do it. And we are talking about a very big IT dept, headquartered in San Francisco.

sure - with time. the in effortless words thanks to do it truly is with brute forcing, it truly is, utilising application to attempt thousands and thousands of password mixtures. there is better than some free and commercial application to do this, yet all of them will take hours, days or per chance weeks to crack the password (searching on how protect the password is and a great deal of success). i have by no skill used such application so i visit't make ideas, yet do exactly an information superhighway search for for something like 'be conscious password restore' and take a seem at a number of the equipment. There are also agencies which will liberate the archives for a fee. those use the same ideas, yet they have functional dedicated hardware for cracking the password, so that they could be able to do it swifter than you should. even if that is nicely worth spending the money relies upon on how efficient the contents of the document is and how immediately you want it.

There are ways to do this. First Try to remember. Then try a password program; some pc mags offered one on the cover disks a few months ago, or do a google search. You might not get the original document back, but should get the text content

What ever you remember about that document, retype it and save it without password and delete the old file.

That would be like giving you the key to someones locked diary.
No way - write a new document.
