I have a static electricity problem and it is driving me nuts. I am constantly shocking things around me and worst of all I keep shocking my dog (once on her eye). Hes bed is full of faux fur blankets and I think she is getting a chare from them. Anyways what are some general rules/ways to get rid of static?

I have a 2006 Pontiac G6 GTP coupe, and I adore the stereo system in it (Monsoon), but it doesn't have an iPod input. The FM transmitters are awful and full of static in Los Angeles. Should I buy an aftermarket car stereo that's iPod ready? I'll have it professionally installed, of course. I've never had an aftermarket radio before, so I'm also really concerned about how it will look in the car. I only want to replace the head unit because I love the speakers I have. Should I assume that an aftermarket will sound just as good, if not better, than the stock radio? Any input would be appreciated - especially regarding the way it will look, and if anyone knows if they can replace the stock system when I'm ready to sell the car, I'd love to know! Thanks!

I am a very young female physician and I work endlessly. I am married to a great man that stays home with our kids. I love him, but I am sooo bored. I am very attracted to a man I work with; I don't want anything from him but a little fun. He is also married. My friends don't see anything wrong with this, but sometimes we live in a world quite different from everyone else's; go figure. Anyway - the situation is this; I have sent him some hot, steamy e-mails (being careful not to abuse our work e-mails) and he now knows that I sent them. He gives me all the right signals; long looks etc and when I asked him to meet me he did, but nothing really happened; he is hesitant because he is married. But, am I misreading him? Suggestions? I've melted lots of dental scrap into an ingot / gold bar and refined it using a home refining system. its 99.98% gold. where can i sell it to? I saw others on Ebay which sold for a lot less than the gold spot price (ie, spot was $20/gram and other home-made bars were selling for roughly $16/gram only) The only ones selling for a good price were the stamped ones from Metalor, Suisse, etc. Since I made it myself, what do I do with it? I tried selling some before to refiners I found online like Midwest Refineries and Garfield, but the return was NOT as advertised. They claimed I would get 94%-96% of the value but they really only gave me like 60% - scammers, to say the least. Anyways, does anyone have experience with a reputable gold buyer for non-minted gold bullions? Allso, I have a good amount of palladium which is about half the price of gold - who can buy that at a good price? Thanks
