looking for clarity in and out of the light without the grain look if the camera is out the light. The sound doesnt matter just the clarity.

If you want an expensive one, I totally agree with Syl, get a GL2, or a dvx100 for that film look but it might be overkill. Or, you could go the cheap route and make very "artsy" music videos with a $30 super 8 camera. And what makes it even better on top of the cheap price, it IS film (albeit a very crude form). However, the real money could come in when you actually buy your film, develop it, and transfer it to video. But using one for a short project is great in my opinion. Hope this helps!

I have been very happy with the results from the Canon GL2. Go to canon.com for more info. It is a costly item, but works well.
