Do I think Taiwan is a part of China? I am not sure Taiwan has ever been a part of China. Unlike, Hong Kong which was part of South China and returned by the Brits as recently as 10 years ago. In my experience of Hong Kong and Taiwanese people, I think the Taiwanese are less aggressive in whatever they do.

Jack,
Most of Indians simply dont differentiate Taiwan and China. Most of them think its in PRC, a territory of China, like China does think. May b due to more media exposures of Chinese angle than the Taiwan's angle..
I did understand the difference only after getting a more learned man.
By the way India ws not participating in Global Business with zeal it hs now till very recent past. Now India has to Know the international mkts more so the knowledge domain is spreading.
One more thing coz some Indians ( includes me) didnt u/stand the thg , does not mk any claims of China over Taiwan valid.
Is it thro my frnd

Taiwan should not be part of China. From what I have seen in China, the Chinese have a lot of work to do in China, they don't need to start fiddling with Taiwan. The Taiwanese are doing great on their own.

Taiwan should not be part of China. They have been separated for very long. It does not make sense to unity, especially by force.
Why can't we have 2 chinese countries living side-by-side in peace?
By the way, China is so big and still have so many areas neglected, especially in the western region. Take care of these lands first before claiming Taiwan.

The ROC is a lovely place to live in . The Taiwanese people are one of the friendliest and helpful people in the World. They go out of their way to help strangers here, not just one or two people but the average Taiwanese.
As a foreigner living here for 22 years, I have never felt out of place or made to feel like an outsider during this period. I am an Indian National.

You can learn more about the ROC , It's cities and counties here, This is my website. I set it up so that tourists wanting to know more about this country can get most of the info they require in one place. : http://crazy_azn1.tripod.com/taiwan

Please rephrase your question and ask what exactly do you want to know about India? Culture, religion, economy?
