Okay I need to know if I can save a micro. word doc on a imation CD-R 700MB/80 Min compact disc recordable cd.
I need to transfer a doc over and I dont' know if I will move off my laptop. Answers needed very quickly

Yes, you can burn the DOC to that CD-R, and it should NOT delete the original. A CD-R is not re-writable, so you can only burn it once, and that CD-R is "done", but for the price of CD-R's today, it's not a big deal to waste a CD-R on one small DOC file :)

If you have a CD writer just insert a blank CD into the CD drive then drag and drop the doc into your D: drive icon.

Yeah u can. CD can store any file format.

yes, just burn it onto it and put it into other computer or mail it to yourself and retrieve from other computer.
