quickly degrade to insults and disparaging comments about liberals? I enjoy a good political debate but if you're just going to resort to insults and generalizations, count me out. And FYI, I lean both ways depending upon the issue, I don't blindly follow the party lines.

I will be visiting and only have two nights at a resort, and would like to see the city. Don't want to hire a tour guide and definately don't want an escort. Maybe there is someone who would like to show me around for a night - on me? Not a weirdo, just your run-of-the-mill hottie, looking to see the city from a local.

i lost 70 pounds since august '06. i did through balanced diet of 1600-1900 calories per day, and burning 1080 calories per week through cardio. i still need to lose 130 more pounds.
since christmas, i have "fallen off the wagon". i'm unmotivated and unable to stick to a balanced meal, and not wanting to workout.
do you think if i did a FAD diet like cabbage soup diet for a week, to kick start the weightloss and motivation, it harm my weightloss or my health? then i go back to a "normal" diet regimen after the 1 week of cabbage soup diet?

i just need to see a drop in the scale to get motivated again.

What authoirty do the police actually have that normal people don't. I mean a citizen can place someone under citizens arrest can't they. Is it a criminal offence to resist a citizens arrest from a citizen?
And if a police officer asks you to do something or trys to do something that he doesn't have the authority to do (for example move you away from an area when you have a legal right to be there and are doing nothing wrong or if he asked you to pull your pants down for no reason), or tries to arrest you because he thinks you've broken the law, but you haven't and he just doesn't understand the law properly, then are you technically within your legal rights to resist arrest or to ignore the order?

Can a citizen technically place a police officer under citizens arrest if the citizen believes the officer has broken the law?

p.s i'm referring to UK law here, but it would be interesting to know what the law would be in these matters in other countries aswell, thanks.

Hi, have a 3 year old mondeo ( new type).
Reversing lights gone, went to fuse box to change fuse but we have no cover on the box. The lid should tell you which fuse is which.
I have been on the web, but can only find the old type of fuse box ( more than 3 years old).
All the manual says is "look at fuse box lid to find correct fuse".
Went out today to buy a hayes car book, but the new mondeo book is not due out untill June.
Can anyone help please by telling me which fuse it is, or even snap a photo of the cover lid for me?

My boyfriend lives abroad and he came to visit me in the Christmas. I have been on the pills a week before he came. A day after having sex it became very painful (unbearable) and then i started having a heavy yellow-greenish discharge but we continued having sex for the two weeks he was here. At first I thought it was the sperms draining from my vagina but now i am second thinking it because its been 3 weeks now and it is still happening and I have to be changing my panty shield very often......Can somebody tell me whats happening, if thats normal and I have nothing to worry about?

I have a better job, lowered by spending drastically to only necessary items, talked to my creditors to work something out with no success, applied for personal and debt consolidation loans with no success, less then a month to come up with a solution. I can't stand the pressure with another job (altho I will take one if I have to). I am staying with my sister helping her with rent and health situation. I am out of options and sanity. Can anyone give me a solution other then doing something illegal?
