We know why the religious muslims hate the jews,
We know why the religious chrisitians hate the jews,
but why do secular people hate the jews? And don't give the "there is no reason" answer, thanks.

Seems like you don't get my question. I'm not saying you are an anti-semite. I'm asking in general, if a person were a secular (meaning, the person doesn't really care about the bible) anti-semite, what could be the reason for him/her to be so?

kind of same reason as the Nazis. i will clarify

1. some religious people hated the Jews for whatever reason. They forced the Jews into jobs they didn't want to do, considered inferior- banking, entertainment, education.

2. the situation blew up in their faces. all of a sudden banking, entertainment and education was were the money was at- which no one foresaw.

3. so, now the Jews as a group are doing pretty well.

4. people get jealous, start ignoring the fact that they are the ones who forced Jews into this position in the first place. They blame the sudden high percentage of Jews that are doing well on conspiracies, ruthless behavior, etc. They are suspicious of their "mysterious ways". Jews are keeping to themselves as a way to not offend people, but now it seems that they are hiding something.

5. so there you go. secular people who don't like Jews.

Well, as a secular person I don't hate anyone because of their religion or nationality. But some people easily think you're anti-semitist if you ever criticize politics of Israel.

Jews is not just a religion but also nationalism. People don't like what they are doing to Palestinians in Israel and at the same time hiding behind holocaust. That is not good or humane.

Please do not speak for me. I do not hate Jews, I have never hated them and never will. I am a religious Christian and you know nothing about me, what I feel or what I think.

As for your question...yes, it does still exist independent of religions.

It's ignorance and prejudice. Religions help fuel it.

Same with people who hate blacks and gays. They'll swear it's biblical and what god wants.

You rarely see an atheist bigot.

Love the christian, hate the christianity.
