During the gubernatorial elections in my state, I had the (mis)fortune of hearing one of the candidates speak.

He claimed that he wasn't a "Washington" guy. He felt money from special interest groups "corrupts" most politicians. He also tauted his teaching experience as the experience he needed to improve public schools. He ended up winning the election.

Here's the problem: He was born outside of D.C. His father was a lifelong Senator. He attended college in the D.C. area. He didn't come to my state until his 20s. He taught at a local high school and was a horrible teacher (I was in his class). To make matters worse, he accepted a $50,000 contribution from the local auto worker's association mere days before claiming he didn't believe in doing that.

I find that this is common anymore. Most politicians are flat out lying to us (all of them, not just Bush).

Is there anyone out there who isn't corrupt?

I'm want to bulk up. For a long time I always just talked about it but never did anything about it.

Luckly, my cousin who lives 2 blocks away took out a treadmill, boxing bag and weights along with a bench all in his back yard.

I've been running everyday for a week now, including punching the bag and lifting some weights.

I'm taking it kinda easy keeping my workouts to last about an hour.

I currently weigh 128lbs, 18 years of age, in college.

how can i be smart and achieve my goal? Which is, bulk up and then tone.

i also have Whey Protein powder (10lbs of it!) but have stomach problems and diareah if i comsume 2 or 3 shakes a day. Each shake has like 25 grams of protein. I heard that people should consume more grams of protein a day than they weigh. 128 grams of protein is a lot to consume, and doubt it will be nice to my stomach. I dont want to make frequent trips to the restroom if you know what I mean.

Words? Advice?

Workout routine help? Eating tips? Habits? Anything? :-)

I cannot believe what some of my Buckeye brethren are saying , I have already read , excuses about the layoff , excuses about Florida injuring Ginn Jr. on purpose bad calls , c'mon people , stop it ! we got our A-S-S WHIPPED plain and simple , Troy Smith and the whole team did not show up , hey thats why the games are played and Florida was the better team , Congratulations to them for a great job , and c'mon fellow Buckeye fans no more excuses , just congratulate and take the verbal beating that is on the way , because you know if we would have won we would be laying into them as well , and one last thing , damn those guys were fast !!

I am looking for a good resource to purchase anime dvds. I find alot of websites, but some only carry a limited selection and I would like to avoid purchasing from numerous different places. I would prefer dvds that have the dubbing or subtitled, along with the option of the original Japanese track. If any of the websites also sold dubbed or subbed live action Japanese movies and television, that would be fantastic.

Im 17 and I wish to take out a loan from a bank at the lowest interest rate I can get, and then invest this money and in a low to medium risk company with a higher rate of return than the bank loan in order to shrink the size my student will become over the next few years as I am about to start my university studies.
