I'm sorry for your loss. When my grandfather passed away 2 years ago a lot of songs helped me cope with his death.
Who'd You'd Be Today-Kenny Chesney
Go Rest High on that Mountain- Vince Gill
I Can Only Imagine- MercyMe
Tears in Heaven- Eric Clapton
Lifehouse- Breathing
Sarah Mclachlan-Do What You Have to Do
Shania Twain- It Only Hurts When I'm Breathing
Brad Paisley- When I get where I'm going
The song that most helped me is by Andy Griggs and its called "If Heaven." Here is a link to the lyrics.

These songs above are all sad and focused around death and if you want to cry and let it all out they are great. If you want to remember the good times and smile about your mother try these out... These songs all remind me of my mother. She lives about 12 hours away and this by no means compares with your loss. They help me with the distance though.
Somebody's Hero-Jamie O'Neal
A Song for Mama- Boys 2 Men
You've Got A Friend- James Taylor
Sugarland-Baby Girl
Hope this Helps!

Only 5?! Venus In Furs - Velvet Underground I Wanna Be Your Dog - The Stooges Or, The Great Gig In The Sky - Pink Floyd Taste The Pain - Red Hot Chili Peppers Peaches En Regalia - Frank Zappa The End - The Doors (if you actually played this just before you died it would make for a dramatic exit)

I'm so sorry for your loss! I lost my mother just about 3 years ago and know what you are going through. I've found a lot of support on a great website for grief, email me privately if you are interested in checking it out.
As for a song, I still listen to Linda Ronstadt's "Good-bye My Friend" over and over again. This link is to the lyrics to the song.

I like "Wind Beneath My Wings" and a country song about teardrops from heaven but I can't remember the name. I am sorry about your mom. My dad died when he was only 47 and I know it is really hard to deal with your emotions.

JAMIE FOXX- I WISH YOU WERE HERE
ITS A GOOD SONG, THE BEST THINGS to do is to stay happy cause If you keep negative thoughts of death on your mind you will attract more negative death thoughts. Good luck and Im sorry 2 hear that.
