Place a saucer or custard cup with a couple ounces of pure vanilla extract(imitation does not work) in the refrigerator. It will absorb the fowl odors and give off a pleasant odor. You can also place a half dozen charcoal briquettes wrapped in paper toweling on a shelf to absorb the odors and of course a box of baking soda will help a little.

I recently had to take care of a similar problem. I didn't have fish, I had spoiled meat because of a power outage. First I removed everything from the fridge, food, shelves, drawers, everything. Then I thoroughly wiped all surfaces down with bleach water. I similarly cleaned all the shelves and drawers. Then I put a full new box of Arm& Hammer Baking soda in the freezer and fridge.

Throw out anything old (and the fish) then clean well with warm water and dish soap. Then place an open box of baking soda in there.

Charcoal placed on newspapers keeps a fridge clean smelling while in storage or transit. It should work in your case for the fridge itself, disgard any items that can absorb the fish smell.

Put an open box of baking soda in the fridge and/or put some charcoal pieces from your barbeque in the fridge. The charcoal absorbs odors.
