I want to congratulate you for being the first OSU fan I've encountered here in Answers today with even a sincere congratulatory word for Florida. Though I'm neither a Gator or OSU fan, I am an SEC fan and enjoyed Florida's win. My sincere hope is that sportsmanship and skill would be recognized and I was having a hard time finding it until I read your comments. Good luck in '07 to your beloved Buckeyes!

Berry,

YOU are a CLASS ACT!

Back when OSU was undefeated and squeaked by games here and there. They qualified to play a high-powered Miami Hurricanes team. Just about EVERY expert, analyst, and Miami Fan gave OSU little credit; they had no idea how OSU would hang with Miami; blah blah blah.

I couldn't believe the treatment you guys got and was sooooo proud of your team when you won the Nat'l Championship against Miami and proved ALL the NAY Sayers wrong.

With all that said, let's be fair here. The Florida Fans has taken so much bashing in the past month from OSU and Michigan fans. Just about everyone in the media picked OSU to win. Everything that transpired reminded me of 2002's OSU team....and I cautioned several times about what happend that year...but the Michigan/OSU fans went on and on, talking about letting the Marching band play, dressing the second team so the game will be close, etc...

Things happen in cycles, and THIS TIME, OSU was the high-powered (or thought to be) team with the Gators as the underdog. Gators went on to win the Nat'l Championship just like OSU did in 2002....when virtually NO ONE gave them a chance. But like you said, it was not even close....it didn't go into overtime, it wasn't a nailbiter.....it was a Route.

Got to be a man about it! When your team gets whipped and dominated like the Buckeyes were tonight, give the other team credit and move on and don't make excuses. Congratulations to Florida and come on 07 season!

Finally someone who admits the obvious. Florida was definitely the better team on this evening. There are lot of people who's pockets are lighter because of this game. OSU believed all the hype about a blow out and didn't show up. Florida played with a chip on their shoulder.

I commend you for what you have said and for taking the beating like a man.

Ohio State did not show up tonight and Florida did with a great game plan that was executed pretty well.

Tonight was just not Ohio States night.

Thank you for sucking it up and taking it like a real man...

Most buckeye fans are not taking it as well as you

Well-stated. OSU was/is an excellent team beaten by an even more excellent team--at least on this night.

Wish the (very underrated) Wisconsin Badgers could have played OSU at the end of the season. What a game that might have been!!

I'm with you on this man. I'm sad as hell that Notre Dame lost to LSPOO last week in the Sugar Bowl, but I give mad props to them....EVEN THOUGH I HATE LSPOOOOO! Notre Dame just didn't show up, and neither did the Buckeyes. Hell, it would be kinda hard to show up after not playing for what like 7 weeks! It's all good though...there's always next year!
