Recently, there has been an emblodened spirit of anti-Americanism amongt some people in Academia, Entertainment and even the Media. You see all the anti-American war protests wherein celebrities lend their voices to the shrill shouts of hate. The Media fawningly covers these traitors as if they are credible people. And in the ivory halls of Academia, professors encourage, and even give extra credit for students to participate in these orgies of hatred.
Isn't it time to bring back the HUAC, in light of how successful it was in the past?
In 1947, the committee held nine days of hearings into alleged Communist propaganda in the Hollywood motion picture industry. After conviction on contempt of Congress charges for refusal to answer some questions posed by committee members, the "Hollywood Ten" were blacklisted by the industry. Eventually, more than 300 artists—including directors, radio commentators, actors and particularly screenwriters—were boycotted by the studios.
