its a good place to get ideas and opinions, but dont let these guys make your decisioons for you. If you have a major problem it is better to speak to someone who knows what they are talking about.

I think it's good when you have a question that you've thought about for a while and just want other people's opinions/you're having a hard time deciding what to do. Some people have really serious questions on here and the best thing to tell them is to seek professional help.

Not really because every one don't always have your best intrest at hand so see if you can find some one to confide in and have your best interest at heart. Try and have a open relationship with your parents they're the only ones that can help you when every one else fails you but most of all learn to lean and trust God you can talk to him any time and he will never leave you nor forsake you. He will see you through it all.

It's certainly a reasonable place to begin. Sometimes those who are uncomfortable talking to family and friends are happy to talk to complete strangers and at least here you would get a large variety of answers. Eventually though it may be best to begin talking to someone you trust and continue discussing a problem over some weeks or even months until you are able to cope.

It's okay for getting an idea of what others think, it's fairly easy to spot the time wasters, and you can ignore them. Even those who are serious aren't necessarily right ... even me, here.

But in the end every decision is your own.

Well it depends on the severity of the Q....but generally i would say we all need to have people round us to help out with problems and if it happens to be here... then what's the harm?
I hope you have found it useful

Sometimes it is better to talk to a proffessional, but for minor troubles I agree with you :)
