How can a person be considered both arrogant and patronising? Is this some kind of joke? I don't understand. I have often wondered about this phrase, where did it come from? How can one person be both arrogant, and at the same time patronising? Does it actually have a good meaning?

I am now 21 and since from about the age of 14 I have had these funny phases of where eating anything or even thinking about eating anything makes me feel really sick. I'm not usually actually sick but the feeling gets so bad that I just can't eat anymore of my meal coz it feels like I am going to be sick. These phases last for about 2 months at a time and for a week after this goes away I literally eat all the food in the house. And then it goes away for a few months and my eating is fine. I know this is not an eating disorder because I actually do get hungry and want to eat but when I think about it it makes me feel ill. I also get quite bad heart burn with this. I get more worried each time I get it as I lose so much weight with it, this time 7lbs in 2 weeks and I don't weigh a lot as it is, and losing this weight makes me feel so tired and drained all the time.
Does anyone have any ideas of what this could be and can anyone help me get rid of it & stop it coming back?

I get an errror message when i start my Laptop up saying -

Windows cannot start because the following file is missing or corrupt: WINDOWS\SYSTEM\vgaoem.fon

You can attemp to repair this file by starting Windows setup using the original setup CD-ROM.

It is a Packard Bell computer and i got no Windows disks with it at all. I havnt done anything different to it recently, and just came up with this message out of the blue. HELP!!!!

I would love to loose weight in 2 weeks without taking pills or becoming anorexic....or anything...so what is the best way to loose it when i am at a boarding school, and my breakfast lunch and dinner is probably fatty, they do have a salad bar and sometimes i just dont feel like eating it.....i need a good answer for this! i have tried a couple of time working out but i had too much of other things to do....idk im all confused....

I never need to go before I get in. But usually after getting in and fiddling around with the taps to get the temperature just right I need to go, and usually do in the bath. I was just wondering if there are any benefits to the skin from doing so, to make me feel less guilty about the satisfaction I get when the other half says "leave the water in for me"
