It depends on which branch of engineering.

I attended the Univ. of Toronto's Engineering workshop a few weeks before. They gave me some figures:

Mineral Engineering: 75%
Industrial & Materials Engineering: 80%
Civil, Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical Engineers: 88%
Engineering Science: 92%

Now, I know this isnt U of Alberta, but i expect for U of A it'll probably be 3 or 4% lower. Hope this helps!
