What program (freeware without viruses) should I use to compress my AVI files produced by my camera? They are a very good quality but also huge! I'd like to keep them at a good quality but smaller size.

I use Virtual Dub. You might also need some codecs.

Compress your AVI videos with AVI to MPEG Converter
