Joshua 10:13 The sun stood still for about a day.
Do church people believe this?
Or maybe it meant to say that Joshua wished the sun would stand still, or maybe he imagined that it was standing still, or everything happened so fast it might as well have stood still, or what?
Is this preposterous or what?
How exactly do church people explain things like this?

AS Im sitting here typing this my eyes are drooping and I keep knodding off but when I go up to bed, all I do is lay there with my eyes closed..my brain is still going 100 miles a minute...Im having full conversations with myself in my head (not out loud..Im not crazy...really, I swear!) while Im trying to sleep. Its been 2 days now and Im completely exausted.
A few weeks ago I fell and twisted my neck a little which caused me to have a severe headache for 5 days in which I didnt sleep. Ever since then, Ive had a really hard time sleeping normally.
Have you got any ideas?

the Muhibbah company is a manufacturer of cylindirical aluminium tins. The manager plans to reduce the cost of production. the production cost is propotional to the area of the aluminium sheet used. the volume that each tin can hold is 1000 cubic cm
(1 liter).
1. determine the value of h, r and hence calculate the ratio of h over rwhe the total surfacearea of each tin is minimum. here, h cm is denotes the height and r cm the radius of the tin.
2. The top and bottom pieces of the tin of height h cm re cut from square shaped aluminium sheets.Determine the value for r,h and hence calculate the ratio h over r so that the total area of the aluminium sheet used for making the tin is minimum
3.Investigate cases where the top and bottom surfaces are cut from
(a)equilateral triangle
(b)regular haxagon
find the ratio of h over r for each case

We'll have been together for a little over 9 months by Valentines Day, and I'm not really sure what would be a perfect gift. I always cook him dinner or bake him cakes or cookies. We've done ALOT for each other. I was thinking maybe a coach wallet, but maybe it will be too expensive for a first valentines? I want it to be not too expensive but not cheap. Any ideas would be great! Thank you so much.

For years now I have been trying to get over things from my past. My childhood, things that happened to me, things I did when I was a teenager, anything really. I feel ok sometimes, but then it sneaks up on me. I have bouts of depression and after a few days I feel good again for a while. My husband doesn't know what to say to me when I try to talk to him. I just want to be normal, and not live in fear. I'm scared of everything basically. I just want to put my mind at ease and enjoy my life now. Help me if you can. Thanks.

Please someone help me. I am kind of confused. I do believe in the death penalty, however I believe that it should be given only to those who commit the most horrific crimes. Was Saddam's Crimes really that bad. Someone told me that the men that Saddam ordered to be put to death, were put to death, only because they attempted to kill him. In this country the same thing could happen here. I feel like Saddam was a scapegoat. What about Osama? He should be the one hanging from that gallows with bullet holes in him. However Bush just let him get away. Is the war really over oil? Shouldn't Bush be impeached for allowing 3000 of our soldiers to be murdered by those terroist inhumane evil thugs? Please help me. I don't know how to feel. I feel sorry for Saddam. He should have had life in prison. He should not have been sentenced to death. Please if you have any information that can be backed as to if he was truly a evil or bad man, then please give it to me. Do you think that Bush should have led the capture of Saddam, or do you think that Iraq, should have captured him when they were ready to? Do you think that the U.S should have had anything to do with this process? Please answer.

We are group of three teachers have founded 'public Trust' in Mumbai. we intend to help existing schools or dis functional schools in india and restart them with the intention of providing 'international education at affoddable cost'. Our pilot project at Ghatkopar ,Mumbai,India has been a success in three years and now school is having more than 1000 students and totally self suffucient. This was achieved without any borrowings or grants or financial help from government or donations from public or students of school or sponsorship from industry or business or politicians. We would like to share our experience with like minded people or organisations so that many under utilised educational assets can be put to proper use for the benefit of community. Please note that we do not intend to buy property or lease the same or creat any type of interest in such school property. We would now like to extend this scheme to higher education projects also.
