All of my settings in the volume control are turned all of the way up and the + button on my laptop was held down until maximum volume, but any sounds that I hear are very quiet like the volume is turned way down, but it is all the way up. Where else can I go to determine why my volume is so quiet? Any one know what could cause this?

I have a small home gym in the lower level of my home, everything is fine except for the sweat smell from the treadmill, no odors from weight machine or nordic track. I've tried cleaning with Lysol and several other odor eliminators and nothing works. Help !

I am a realestate agent. Real estate agents are generally considered contract employees, paid by commission, and issued 1099's instead of w-2's. The person I work with is always slow to pay me, as they are always waiting for a check to come in.

I am owed some additional money for this month and have not received it. I probably will not receive it until late next week (into 2007).

Has anyone else had an experience like this? I'm fed up with never knowing when I will get paid and am considering packing up and leaving without notice if I don't get paid by Tuesday of next week.

Any opinions?

HI,

I need to write a sentence like this.

For paid advertisements, the images in the advertisements are usually have different prices.

is this sentence OK.

(here the fee for each image used in an advertisement is determined by the side of the image. Therefore, images of different size have different fees.) I hope this make it clear.

Should I use prices or price. Why.

I tend to use "prices" as there are more then one sentences.
But, if I use a "a price" in the sentence, what does the sentence mean then? Does it mean all the sentences have the same price? I have to be carefully here. please help?

The new friend says he can make good or bad things happen with the aid of nature, spirits and the universe. My new friend is a little scary at times but is extremely intense and determined. A friend of mine would like the following Dave Matthews Band lyrics translated into French for a tattoo: "Then I look up at the sky." I've come up with either "Puis je regarde le ciel" or "Alors je leve mes yeux vers le ciel" (with an accent grave over the first "e" in "leve"). Does anyone have an idea of which one might be more appropriate, or whether there are any grammatical errors in either of these translations? Or, if you have any other suggestions, I'd appreciate it! Also, would you go with "puis" or "alors"? This is permanent, after all, and I wouldn't want her to have an erroneous tattoo! Thanks!
