I would like to know the construction of paint hose. What type of nylon is used for the inner tube. Is it blended for conductivity? Is the reinforcement double braided? What is the make-up of the polyester?
Is the jacket polyurathane?
What type of adhesive is used?

I am a manufacturer so I would perfer to make it then go to the store and buy it.
That answer may get you points but it doesn't help me with the question.

Why would you want to make this when you can go to the store and purchase it? I believe it would be cheaper to buy it then to make it.

It's simple- It depends on the pump pressure, but I have a paint pump that's rated at 3000 psi I use a high pressure 1/2 inch rubber hose that has double braids and is rated at 3600 psi. No you do not have to use a poly on the jacket and most of my hose's I build depending on the job and use a industrial strength glue along with a clamp to hold in my connectors. You may need to take this question to the brains of answers and discuss it with an engineer. Hope I helped.
