An old man lived alone in Ireland. He wanted to dig his potato garden, but it was very hard work.

His only son, who would have helped him, was in prison for bank robbery.

The old man wrote a letter to his son and mentioned his predicament.

Shortly, he received this reply,
"For HEAVEN'S SAKE Dad, don't dig up that garden, that's where I buried the Money!"

At 4 A.M. the next morning, a dozen policemen showed up and dug up the entire garden, without finding any money.

Confused, the old man wrote another note to his son telling him what happened, and asking him what to do next.

His son's reply was: "Now plant your potatoes, Dad. It's the best I could do from here."

I can barely move. My father says it's because I'm still coughing from a cold, but I don't know if it's something more serious. It hurts when I touch below my rib cage, when I pull in my stomach, and when I throw it out. I can't take deep breaths. What should I do, and why does it hurt?

Is death actually "a punishment" at all? How, after the punished is gone from this world, even if they were able to reflect upon their punishment, what good would that be when they're dead?
What if there's a chance for those criminals to repent to God? What execution does is prevent them from doing so, and depriving God the chance to practice His right of forgiving and judging, simply because man has given himself the right to play god; don't you think?

due to medical reason's. I've been really clucky and would love another baby but I know the medication I'm on can cause major birth defects or during labour, my death. Do you think getting a small dog would fix my wanting another baby. My only daughter is just about to start school.

So many people on here talk about how they hate Bush, but he WAS re-elected, wasn't he? My son just got out of the army after 4 years. He did 2 years in Iraq, was hit by an IED, and lost 3 very good friends. At re-election time, guess who he voted for? And by what he told me, most in the military voted for Bush. I have to say I am not a Bush lover, but I don't like seeing him being compared to much to Saddam. There is no comparison here. And guess what? In two years we will have elected another person to take his place, and you can bet that whoever it is will be hated for somethings they do too. Just a comment.

I have a Dell Inspiron 9100..The charger broke and the battery ran out.. I now have a new charger but the laptop only works while laptop is plugged in. I get a error message on boot up saying 'charging from a 90w adapter' and something about not for optimal charging..... any ideas anyone??

There's this girl i've been going out with lately. I only knew she liked me after she saw me at a party with another girl and she got jealous. i've only known her for a short while, but i know she has a close friend (i'm not sure if he's her boyfriend), but i've met him before i went out with her and they didnt touch or anything, though she's known him longer than me. She tells me he buys her stuff and he's nice. But when we go out, she lets me rest my head on her shoulder, put my arm around / over her, play with her hair and she gives me hugs (i'm really close to kissing her). She's pretty open and tells me some intimate stuff about herself and we can both joke about sexual stuff.

She was sick recently and she didnt want me to see her sick but i know the other guy visited once because she said he gave her a christmas present. So i'm not really sure where i stand in all this. What do you think?

Well...I've Been With This Man For About 10 Months Now And He Has A History With His Past Relationship. So What Happened In His Past Is Affecting Our Relationship Even though I Didn't Have Anything To Do With It...But This Man Says He Can't Trust Another Female Again Or Just Anybody Or It's Gunna Take A Long Time For Him To Trust Again. I really like a man but told him I wasn’t ready to date and didn’t want a rebound relationship. He doesn’t call me but when I call him to talk about work issues before we end the conversation, he always asks me how I am, about my family, Christmas etc… He also talks about his life, family etc….
