A few weeks ago, two girls (aged 18) of my English class had a physical fight during the 5-minute break between two periods. I was so shocked that I didn't quite know what to do. There has been disciplinary action but the two girls are unwilling to talk to each other ever since.
The class is split into the supporters for one girl and the supporters for the other. So, the atmosphere is very tense and it's not only the girls that hate each other but the supporters have started bullying each other as well.
I'd like to interfere (not just for the sake of teaching) but I don't quite know how to go about it. After all, they are all adults...
Has anyone got any useful ideas?

I'm seeing someone, I'm in a long distance relationship. I'm fine wit not talking to him everyday but when this guy waits about 3/4 days till he next calls, I can't help but wonder if he really likes me or not!. He's even told me he wants us to have a baby, although I've never heard "I love you" from him yet.
Also, I sent him an instant message on MSN and he replied sayin he can't type at the moment cuz he's busy on the playstation. I can't help but feel used, maybe he's using this "baby" talk to make me think he wants a future. Do you think I should call him now about how I feel and talk to him about it or should I leave it till he calls?!!!!! PLEASE HELP this is really important to me

Calling everyday is excessive, which I understand, but he doesn't call me for like 3/4 dayz, that's the issue

Okay, so i bought a beta fish at the mall today, admittedley without thinking. so i don't have any food for him. YES I KNOW I'M DUMB. i think i can buy fish-food for him tomorow, and the lady i bought him from said that i only need to feed him every other day. but just to be safe, beacuse i don't know if she feed him yesterday, what can i feed him to tide him over?

This might sound a little corny but, I feel like I have a really big purpous in my life. I feel like I am meant to do, or can do something incredible. my baby is 10 months old and is becoming very difficult. i dont know whether I am just seeing it that way coz i am pregnant again and really tired or what...it's just he seems to be so hard to handle now. he cries at tea time and throws tantrums....its really hard to feed him when he used to eat really well. he cries when we put him to bed for ages when he used to be out like a light straight away. I feel like im not enjoying him any more coz he is such hard work.....i dont know what im doing wrong and im dreading having to cope with two...will it get any better?? is it normal for babies to be like this when they used to be so well behaved?

i talk to...who said he likes me ....but everytime i talk to him...we talk for a while ..then gets so busy when i ask him wat is he doing he says am talkin to my friends..and when i ask him about who r these friends he says they r girls...

I was dating a guy who wasn't helping our relationship foundation. So I began 2 see others. No I found another & am dating him but he's gang affiliated & a rough neck around his friends but when we're together he's sweet as pup(not kitten). Well he has a cell phone & won't give me the number 4 it b/c he says it's his business phone, but there's another guy who's interested in me & asked me about him & our relationship. I didn't mind, but when I got 2 the cell phone issue he said that's no excuse be/ his girlfriend (if he had 1) would have his cell, chirp, house, & all connects. Then he told me the other guy isn't my boyfriend 4 that reason & b/c he hasn't been by 2 my home, & doesn't know where I live. I call him 2 ask him what's goin' on & why hasn't he called me & his excuse is he's been out makin' it. I know what I should do, but I know what I won't do. Could I have some other inputs on this matter to help my final decison ressurect to come to a conclusion

My two best friends come over every week on tuesdays, and they usually spend the night. I have no problem w/ that it's just when I get up the next day they have completely destroyed the house. My dad recently admitted to me that he has 2 sons from 2 different women. They would be in their 40's, and as far as he knows their last name is Newland. I am NOT using a LAN setup. I simply want to connect 2 ADSL modems on 2 computers in different rooms to be able to access the ADSL single line in my house. As soon as another modem is connected, the whole system slows down to molasses; as soon as we disconnect one of the modems, broadband works fine.

I have a Thomson SpeedTouch modem supplied by Telstra and a Belkin...the Belkin has a NAT feature that I can enable, but the SpeedTouch does not have this in the software section (and Telstra tech support won't reveal how to enable this function...they are, apparantly, greedy and want people to buy extra lines, which is unacceptable.)
