Hi,
I just bought some expensive shoes and everytime I walk in them they make a squishy type noise. I pressed the location on the shoe where my heel would go and I noticed that is does it when I pressed down with my fingers. It is a hard sandel. It sounds like part of my skin is sticking to the shoe. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

Thanks!
Kimberley

I had sex yesterday. (unprotected, we are TTC). . .If I am not due to ovulate until Sunday what is the likelihood of my becoming preggers. DH is left town this morning for a business trip and wont return home till Monday. We did it three times, different positions and each time elevated my hips for 20 minutes. When i took my BBT this morning it was 98.29. . . ..could i possibly be ovulating sooner than expected or normal?

The store at which I work recently ran a coupon:

$10 off a *single item* priced $10 or higher.

A customer tried to buy socks that were priced 3/$12. She claimed that if they were sold *individually* for a higher price than 1/3 of the group selling price, then they were legally considered a *single* item when purchased as a group. (If one pair rings up at $5, but three pair ring at $4 each.)

Does anybody know if there is any legal validity to her claim?

.

I've decided I want to become a teacher, which I didn't clearly ask the correct question to, so here it goes: My scenario begins that I am a college junior upon the arrival of what would be considered my "specialized" classes (I.E. Major). I have no idea what I really want to teach, because I made alright marks (-A) in most of my classes (ranging from Comp/Anatomy and Physio/College Algebra). I understand that Math/Science is in demand. Some of my friends say that it would be more rewarding to me to major in English. My mother and father say that I would do great in Science. I tutored several classmates in Coll. Algebra and they said I would do great at that.

Any suggestions?

After gaining a black belt in Karate, then training with boxing, and suffering the flaws in both arts, i.e. the fixed positions and lack of fluidity, block, counter attack "yawn" (karate), and the reliance on power and being a glorified punching bag/machine (boxing).
Is there a martial art that can give me much more than the skills I have achieved to date?

NB. I dont want to find anything too "dancey" and delicate! e.g. Tai kwando, or big girls wrestling ("before we learn Karate"), e.g. judo

Something that will take a while to grasp!!!

I rarely ever see a "real" question concering religion in this forum. All that is ever posted is "Hate Posts" spewing venom and garbage at everybody. If people post this stuff just for shock factor, I would think that it would be way old by now! I am not even that religious and even I find most of these posts offensive and discusting.

8) Violations and subversions of the Charter of the United Nations and international law, both a part of the "Supreme Law of the land" under Article VI, paragraph 2, of the Constitution, in an attempt to commit with impunity crimes against peace and humanity and war crimes in wars and threats of aggression against Afghanistan, Iraq and others and usurping powers of the United Nations and the peoples of its nations by bribery, coercion and other corrupt acts and by rejecting treaties, committing treaty violations, and frustrating compliance with treaties in order to destroy any means by which international law and institutions can prevent, affect, or adjudicate the exercise of U.S. military and economic power against the international community.

9) Acting to strip United States citizens of their constitutional and human rights, ordering indefinite detention of citizens, without access to counsel, without charge, and without opportunity to appear before a civil judicial officer to challenge the detention, based solely on the discretionary designation by the Executive of a citizen as an "enemy combatant."

15) Authorizing the monitoring of confidential attorney-client privileged communications by the government, even in the absence of a court order and even where an incarcerated person has not been charged with a crime.

16) Ordering and authorizing the seizure of assets of persons in the United States, prior to hearing or trial, for lawful or innocent association with any entity that at the discretionary designation of the Executive has been deemed "terrorist."

17) Engaging in criminal neglect in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, depriving thousands of people in Louisiana, Mississippi and other Gulf States of urgently needed support, causing mass suffering and unnecessary loss of life.

18) Institutionalization of racial and religious profiling and authorization of domestic spying by federal law enforcement on persons based on their engagement in noncriminal religious and political activity.

19) Refusal to provide information and records necessary and appropriate for the constitutional right of legislative oversight of executive functions.

20) Rejecting treaties protective of peace and human rights and abrogation of the obligations of the United States under, and withdrawal from, international treaties and obligations without consent of the legislative branch, and including termination of the ABM treaty between the United States and Russia, and rescission of the authorizing signature from the Treaty of Rome which served as the basis for the International Criminal Court

I do research for, and give presentations in, the public and private sector, and have created a consulting firm (LLC) through which to run expenses and to have a business "front" to what I do. I have looked at the IRS Schedule A Itemized Deductions documents, and the Jackson-Hewitt deductions pages online. I have also searched through Yahoo Answers. I'm curious if anyone has created an Excel spreadsheet or if there is another web resource out there that itemizes the tax deductions I would typically be able to make each year. Of course, flights, hotels, gas involved in travel related to the consulting would be deducted, as would computer software and hardware that is needed for the business. It would be fantastic if there was some kind of list out there for consultants who do this type of thing. Thanks in advance for your advice and help.
