I have a fish tank in my lounge and the pump is rather loud , its fine when im not in there but when im trying to watch tv its very annoying , I have been told that if i turn it off for a long period of time nitrogen will build up and the fish will die , is this true ?? and how long is a long period of time?? , would it be ok to turn it off for say the 5 hours a evening i spend in my lounge ??

I met a guy who acted like a complete bachelor, but then found out that he is in a relationship. He only flirts with me, so nothing happened. I was just wondering how to react to him saying that he's not happy with her & wants someone he is attracted to? My sons freind Jake never says thank you too me when ever I take him somewhere or if he sleeps over. He is always bragging about his $300 skateboards. When we went to wendys to eat,. i told jake to go wash his hands. Jake told me NO. I told him again to go wash his hands and he told me NO. I told him that we were not leaving wendys untill he washed his hands. Well we were late dropping jake over that night becuase the washing of the hands bit. Jakes mother yelled at me because I dropped him off late. I did not say a word to her or tell her why we were late. I bit the bullet. Since that happened in August Jake calls for my son to do things. We do not return calls , which included not going over for thier family christmas party, Yet Jakes still calls for my son to do things. I have not heard from Jakes mother since August and I feel its her resposibility to call me. What do I tell my son Randy to Jake on why Randy doesnt return his calls? Jakes mother needs appoligi

I bought my first horse about 2 months ago. He is 13 years old and has ridden English all his life. Although I like riding English I would like to ride western. Is it possible to teach a horse to neck rein too? or do horses get confused with English reining and western if you try and use both? I'm a bit of a novice so please use layman terms and include ANY information you think would be helpful for a first time owner. Thanks!

I am not a rude customer. I have been going there all my life. I always say hi and smile and thank you. Most of the time the postal employees are rude. I have encountered bossy ones and ones with major attitudes. There are exceptions but they are rare. Most of the employees I come across are damn disgruntled. OK if you hate dealing with the public and you don't like your job, then why do you work there to spread misery? You deal with rude customers too but don't take it out on nice ones.

I have been invited to a New Year's Eve party by my boyfriend's aunt whom I have never met and know little about. I will be staying for four days, all attending will be adults.

Also, I am a college student (21) and on somewhat of a budget ($50.00). Would a bottle of champagne and/or flowers be appropriate?

How would they compare not being so rich, and being a low marketer?

Boy oh boy, think of how many of there players they would have to BEG to play for free...

You know, i wouldn't mind seeing that, Yankees play "Low-Market Team" for a year.

My 2004 Toyota Siena's head light has moisture inside and the car dealer told me that it cannot pass safety inspection. Changing the new light will cost me $300 +.

Is there a way to do it yourself to remove the moisture without getting a brand-new head light?

i ate way too much over the holidays and i want to cleanse my body. i have heard that cranberry juice (like actually cranberry juice, not the sugary stuff) is good, and i have aldo heard that maple syrup mixed in lemonade is good....yeah i thought the last one was a little weird too, lol.

so, they're unreliable, not worth waiting for etc.. but why oh why do they all turn up at once?
here's the story, i've been single since june, split with my ex.. my decision, and i've enjoyed single life since then.. had a few dates, but there's man number 1.. let's call him S, who i've grown really close to and we've seen each other a few times and i'm not sure, but i may not be single much longer...
on the other hand, there's man number 2... let's call him C, ex colleague,never thought i would have touched him with a bargepole, but got to know him and think he's a really genuine, swee, funny guy. he left my work in august.. anyway, he ended up at the xmas party last week, and everyone seemed to be hooked on fixing the two of us up, and i wasn't gonna say no to a xmas kiss so flirted with him all night.. anyway, nothing happened, but we've been flirting ever since..
my dilemma.. i want man number 1... but how do i tell man number 2 i don't want him when i've been leading him on..

I dont have anything specific that i am craving for apart from gherkins i did love them before i was pregnant, but now i could eat a whole jar is it normal to have a craving like that?

Also i stated that i dont have any specific craving i can just eat anything and everything GIVE ME FOOD!!!!!.

I am 6 weeks and 4 days pregnant is this normal around this stage?

with my ex. We have been broken up for almost 2 years. Over the summer we starting talking again. He just walked away when we broke up, no official we are broken up or anything. Just ended all contact. I had met his friends and family and everything went well, his parents even hugged me goodbye. When he got back in contact with me, he said he missed me and he knew he was horrible. He just had issues that he needed to straighten out (they mostly had to do with committment). I had gotten over him but when he came back into my life it changed. What do I do? We are trying to be friends because we were friends before. He always contacts me when something bad happens in his life, i think i'm just confusing what used to be there with friendship.

I am supposed to be flying in to Denver early Saturday morning. I hear another big storm is coming through Thurs-Fri, possibly as bad as the last.
I am flying Southwest and am wondering if they will simply reroute the flight or will they just all together cancel it?
I am trying to plan ahead so I do not get stuck!
It would be approx. $300 dollars more for me to reroute my own flight itinerary to fly into another airport.....

I never fly so any advice would help. Please don't bother with ridiculous answers (I have no problem reporting you!).
