I think both are lovely ideas and I'm very impressed that etiquette is still alive and well.
FTD.com always has on-line specials. To assure a warm welcome you might want to go ahead and have flowers [or a plant] delivered right before you arrive.
I wouldn't do the champagne. Not enough to share with everyone; don't know if she likes champagne; etc...
Don't forget to take a piece of your stationery with you. Leave your thank-you note on the pillow after you have gone ahead and stripped the bed linens on the last day of your visit. [I'm sure you already know this.]

Check with the bf to make sure she drinks. A bottle of her favorite drink, a nice wine or champagne, flowers or better still a potted flower would all be great gifts.

That is very appropriate. Dress up your bottle with a simple ribbon, or go to the dollar store and get a wine baggie.
If you're a bit crafty, you can make your own wine charms. Go to Michael's, get some earring hoops and some jump rings. Add a variety of beads or other novelty item to the jump rings. Put them in a nice pouch or wee box and she'll have somewhere to store them after the party.

You got it. Champagne or a nice bottle of wine. (Robert Mondavi is a nice brand- for about 20.00 depending on the choices his brand has). I don't even realy think flowers are necc, but thats your choice. P.S Don;t forget to buy a wine bag. You can find some nicely decorated ones at ANY wine store. Wine Depot, Wine Country, ect. They also serve as a nice presentation for the wine.

Both flowers and wine are acceptable.
A nice box of candy is a good alternative as well.
And if they don't drink wine, some flavored coffee is a good gift. Make sure it is ground in case they don't have a grinder.

Wine is good. Wine glasses are good. Summer sausage and a cheese log would be good. Holiday napkins or placemats? Carafe? High tech wine bottle opener? Nice coffee, tea, and/or cocoa? Throw blanket?
