Me and my best friend went to watch Eragon the other day. We both loved it! We both love all types of Fantasy tales. The thing is that my friend refuse to read/watch Harry Potter. He says that it is demonic and "uses real spirit/demon names". . . We are both chrisitians. He also read some book warning against the evil of harry potter. But how can he judge a movie/book if he has never watched it?!

He loves LOTR, Star wars, Eragon, Smallville and almost any type of fantasy. Isnt there some form of Magic in all types of Fantasy?

How can I make him realize that he is a hypocryte against himself?

We both realise that a movie or book is Fiction, and we keep it there. We dont try doing magic at home or some crap like that. . . I know this question is not layed out properly but I hope you can understand! Please help

There's this cute popular guy in school that I have been crushing on for 2 years. But my friends only know that I dont like him anymore. They almost believe everything I say. Anyway...its weird because he acts TOTALLY different with me. Sometimes he even approaches me to talk...just talk. (why not talk with his friends?) Whenever I become 'popular'..lets say I won something ...he'd never fail to cheer me. But its weird because he keeps joking around me..asking me stupid question (ex: Do u and ur sis fight?) Duh!? Everyone fights sometimes. He even asks me if my crush is in school. Of course he is...ITS HIM! He knows I like him but he likes rubbing it on my face... Its like he's always annoying me...he sure is. I dont know. Is he playing hard to get with me or just teasing me?

im gona cut a long story short:
-i saw him at a party last weekend, havent seen him in 6years.
- he added me on msn, he told my friend 'im still sexy'
- he greeted me twice with 'allo gorgeous' and calls me 'babe' etc on msn he also says bye and adds kisses, you know 'xxx'
- since its xmas and we are both busy we havent spoken alot this week.

does he like me or is he just one of those guys who calls all the girls babe and gorgeous. and im not sure about the 'xxx' either cos i know some guy friends who do that too.
