O.k. so why is it that when we have feeling's that our spouse/partner/loved one might be cheating people tend to say "well that mean's they are cheating" "that means they have a guilty conscience" I say BS. Why do people do this? Isn't this like telling the person that was raped that it was their fault?

i just became engaged after 5 yrs to my bf but i'm having doubts.he was married and had a son(sam) to a very controling wife thats the reason he divorced her 6yrs ago.she is very bitter over this and makes my life hell and its gotten worse since we got engaged.she calls,emails almost everyday,every little thing regarding sam requires lenghy phone calls which then leads into things related not about thier son.example on a romantic vac. she called to tell my bf sam had a cold,we were only gone 3 days and she called 4 times.she also told my bf she does not want me to go with him to sams school functions as i'm not his mother,she said he has to go with her.my bf said he will not say anything to her as he wants to take the high road with her for his sons sake and agrees with everything she does and wants.i think hes just afraid of her and knows i will make less of a stink than she will.how why does he allow her to control our lifes?am i wrong to feel this way?

I asked a question the other day about a novel I'd read, commenting that it had some interesting ideas on God. One response was "I don't like novels, and I get my God from the Bible".

So...assuming you believe in the Bible, is it OK to get ideas or thoughts on God from different sources--even if you don't necessarily *believe* in them?

Would knowing the religion of the writer make a difference? If it would, how would it impact your thoughts? If you knew the writer didn't believe the Bible but still made solid points that agreed with the Bible, would that be any different?

And while we're at it...if you're of a different faith, flip these questions around to your viewpoint and answer accordingly.

Please no ad hominem attacks or assumptions on my belief. Just a question. If you're opposed to it, please move along.

My sister's I-Pod is not working and my family thinks it is the battery so they want to take the battery out of mine and put it in hers and my dad doesn't even know what he is doing, so my question is, if they take the battery out of mine, then will it ruin my I-Pod's memory and erase all of the songs?Can the battery ever go bad?, and if it is the battery, then how do you take it out?...i really don't want my dad to take my battery out and ruin mine....HELP:(

One of my keys broke and popped off and I was able to fit it back on then recently it came off again and the stopper under the key came off and is gone.

My computer's progessing fan is acting up. I had it rebuilt and now the fan starts getting so loud sometimes. And a few times its started getting louder and louder and my computer just shuts off. I've cleaned out the fan as well and its plugged in when it does this.

How can I have my key on my keyboard replaced, do I need to send it back to dell, and is my motherboard going out?
