He was on Larry King on Friday night and I thought that he was very genuine. What did you think.

Joel Olsteen is a very genuine, humble, man of God. He is very tender hearted and truly wants to make a difference for God. Many, many people are helped by his ministry.

omg i love him. i really do. you can feel the warmth that he gives out to his fellow worshippers even though u are watching from tv. he is a true man of god and is not controversial. i would love to save up the money to go to his church. he has helped me with many things in my life.

He's a 'prosperity' preacher. It's all about money. He completely misses the point of Christian life. He's a cleaned up, appealing, packaged version of Benny Hinn, Robert Tilton, etc.

Jesus, in his word, never promises that life as a Christian is easy, great, full of riches. In fact, he says that we can expect great hardship, persecution, etc. We also have great joy, but not (necessarily), wealth.

He's a good teacher. He seems to avoid controversial subjects like abortion. He's a "Positive Gospel" preacher.
