I want to make Chili, but the recipes that i am looking at want like, vinegar, or wine or beer or kidney bean juice for the liquid. and well that just grosses me out.. so does anyone have a CrockPot recipe for chili that uses either water or the juice from canned tomatoes.. something like that..? thanks !!

I want to turn off that start-up "dunnnnnnnnn" on my lovely Macbook, I am so tired of hearing it everytime I turn on my laptop. Sometimes I forget to turn down the sound before I shut it off, so the next time I turn it on, it makes that annoying and loud sound, and alerts everyone. It isn't exactly wonderful, especially when I'm in a quiet classroom or library. So is there an option that allows me to kill the sound?

my g/f is late on her period, i know the obvious answer is that she is pregnant, but we are very careful but she is not on birth control and i always use a condom and have not had a rip. She says she is have alot of sharp cramps where her ovaries are she having them alot. She has lost her appetite recently but i think she is just late because of stress. I took her v card and right after she said she is nervouse about getting PG but im confident she isnot but what could be the coause of these pains she is having? should she see a doctor. And last moth she was a week late on her period too but eventually had it.

Has any one ever got a Car or Truck Stolen befor? I'm depressed and social anxiety disorder and because of that I haven't been able to get closer to this group of friends in school I want to get closer to and that has added to the depression. But my depression has gotten to a point where a lot of the time I don't want to be with anyone, just be alone and sleep, so I keep to myself now instead of mingling like I used to to try to make friends. SO sometimes I just am so deprssed I don't care but inside its killing me. I don't know if I should give up or try something different?

Okay, so basically, for a good while now, at least seven or eight months, I've felt incredibly ugly, and fat, been extremely self-conscious to the point that when I pick out clothes to wear, the next thing I know I realize how nothing at all looks good on me and how ugly I am, and I'm on the floor crying. I'm extremely insecure about a lot of things, my nose, my hair, but especially my weight, which includes the size of my arms, legs, and stomach. My friends tell me that I'm not fat and that I have nothing to worry about, I'm about 5'4" and 119-120 pounds. I weigh myself at least once or twice a day, and our scale at this house isn't very accurate so it leads to numerous breakdowns. I count calories constantly, I will not eat in front of others. I've lost 25 pounds in five months, and I feel like nothing changed. My friend that has an eating disorder says that she is worried and that I should see a nutritionist or a therapist. I'm just hoping for at least one more opinion, thanks.

I want to buy a new parakeet, and I heard that the younger they are, the better. The only pet stores near my house are Petco and Petsmart. Do you know how young their parakeets usually are? Is it possible for me to buy a very young one from one of these stores?
