That's pretty funny I never really thought about how many mental disorders are comparable to religious beliefs. I think most would fall under psychotic disorders

yes. Considering that they've labelled most of the great scientists with Asperger's syndrome and all artists with some sort of schizophrenia, all religious people should be labelled as psychotic to tell everyone that thinking anything beyond sex and money is abnormal.
We are all animals -- the closest relatives of chimpanzees -- it's time we honor our familial ties and start "fitting in" with the rest of the crowd (of apes) by proving that we shouldn't "think" at all -- it's all very "abnormal" considering it involves making an "arbitrary" decision that there are some "good" ways of living -- which involves not hurting or killing others -- which I think is most inconvenient for everyone out there.

Depends on the style of religious "belief." For example, it could potentially be called "peace of mind" or "deeply meditative" -- all mental conditions.

The best form of education is the kind that guides the child to reason. The measure of mental health is the degree with which one reasons logically. There is nothing more illogical than religion.

No! Having a religion to believe in is not something that people should be looked down upon for. Believing in God does not make you sick! What kind of question is this?

Yes.
And so should 'religious disbelief'.
They are both "mental conditions" - and equally unable to be proved, bigot.
