I have toshiba laptop, everytime we leave the computer on and after some idle time it will try to go in stand by mode and freeze up, when i try to do any thing it will give me a blue screen. i have windows xp home edition on this machine, any help will be appreciated.

I am in desperate need of a GOOD hair cut. I don't have a ton of money to spend so I am going to go to Regis Hair Salon. But I want to find the best stylist they have to cut my hair. Is it tacky for me to call the receptionist and ask her to schedule me an appointment with the best one at the salon? Would the receptionist even know who was the best? What should I do?

Are they trying to "hype" the situation and make it more dangerous and dramatic than it is. Are they trying to imply that it was a fully automatic handgun(like a machine gun?)
All pistols, automatics and revlovers are semi- automatic except for ancient civil war era handguns. Semi-automatic means every time you pull the trigger, one round goes off. Its does not mean when you pull the trigger and as long as you leave it depressed the weapon will continue to fire. That is "fully automatic". Semi- automatic is almost an oximoron. Every pistol, even a tiny twenty-two calibur revolver is "semi-automatic".
"The bad guys "opened up" with semi-automatic pistols", is a joke, and seems to be an attempt to over dramatize the situation.

In 1000 words or less and in your own words, define diversity including an experience in which diversity has effected your life in a positive or negative aspect.

I know I have a real good shot at this, if they would be open to hearing about my experience as a transsexual, but part of me is afraid to write about that in a scholarship essay. What do you think?

The world can come up with all this technology but they cant make something to put in snow to look for these people that not fair. They have machines to look underground and space, thousands of miles away. So they can find some type of way to look for these people they just dont want to risk there life. I dont care if its to dangerous risking there life looking but people risk there life going to iraq dying. At least they can send poeple to risk there life to save someone or just bring them back. Like I read 3 decades ago a man live 13 days in a cave. So these people may just be lucky.

During my time living alone, I realised that there were a lot of common sense thing I didn't know when living with my parents. For example, I would have to do my laundry and groceries every weekend or I'd be eating out and wearing dirty clothes b/c I wouldnt have get time to do them for myself. Or for food I learnt the usefulness of ziplock containers. I was wondering if people had any other tips they had to make things more efficient.
