Do they not realise that the speed limit is a safe speed to drive at on the road concerned? If you are on a wide, straight road with nothing in front of you, you should drive at least somewhere near the speed limit - definitely not 50% below it!

These people are soooo frustrating. They make perfectly safe drivers late for work when there is no good reason for it! If they do not have the confidence in themselves that they can control their car at 60mph then they should not be on the road! This is a major contributing factor to road congestion.

I am not ageist but I have to say most of these people are old. Shouldnt they take a test at 65 or something to check they are still capable of driving sensibly?

Failing that, pull over and let us people who have lives to lead past ... please!!!

I am at work all day tommorrow and it will be very dark when I get home. I had wanted to visit a nearby Celtic well. I am a druid.

Today is my day off and the weather is beautiful. Should I visit the well today and do my prayers today, or do you think I should wait until tommorrow?

Many thanks.

I think it is dishonest, I also find it to be demonic and disgusting behavior.
Story by Mark Niquette and Jim Siegel, the Columbus Dispatch, Dec. 20th.
"The people put a issue on the ballot in Ohio, that issue was passed by the voters of Ohio.
Issue language was stated and it was that language that was passed by the voters.
The Republican controlled Ohio House and Senate were expected to approve House Bill 690 last night or today. Then Rush it over to Gov. Bob Taft who has said he will sign it. House Bill 690 is not the bill that passed the voters approval but rather a Republican version drafted to favor the Anti-issue two supporters and two business interest lobby groups who align with the Republicans to write the legislation into the Ohio Constitution.
"It's a slap in the face to the more than 2 million voters who voted for issue two and a slap in the face of those who believe in the Democratic process." Said Tim Burga who supported the voter drive to get the issue on the ballot. Sooner or later this issue will be litigated.
The amendment was approved by 56 percent of the Ohio voters."
My words follow. In other words if you can't cheat at the ballot box then just change what was voted into law to what you want the law to read. Republicans have decided, they will not bow to the will of the people. They also will not serve the people they took a oath to serve.

I just took one of my finals that included passage identification, and although I hadn't thought Lucretius would be on my exam, I felt that the excerpt which included a reference to Orpheus and Eurydice was from De Rerum Natura. Unfortunately my copy of the book is not with me and I cannot check and it is literally KILLING me. Thanks for your help!

My friend is a foreign national. He works an additional 20hrs per week. His first employer does not like this. She has told him to job or she will ask him to leave her employment. I think this is illegal. Am I right?

What would you do if you were on your way to work in the morning and traffic was almost at a standstill due to a disabled truck?. After one half hour later on, you got onto a bridge where traffic was at a standstill for another half hour due to an accident and emergency vehicles parked there. You call work to say you'll be late and don't know for how long. Fifteen minutes later, you call work to leave a voicemail to say you've decided to take the day off. Even though you knew that sitting in traffic is not really a good excuse to take the day off, would you feel guilty about it for the rest of the day, or consider it just a fact of life and "stuff happens"?

I was in labor all last night and yesterday. My contractions were pretty strong and getting stronger. When I saw my doctor yesterday he said I was 50% effaced and a little over a fingertip dialated. Yesterday about 3:30 all of a sudden my contractions just stopped and they haven't returned yet. My doctor told me to just come back home yesterday and let my labor progress a little more before I went to the hospital and now it's just stopped. Does anyone have any clue why it would just stop like that?

I'm wondering now if I should have gone through with it in the first place. I meant well making my decision- everyone says it's best for the animal. But know I'm wondering if he'll be the same? I don't want him to just lay around & sleep or feel like less of a male. I miss him running around, biting my pants leg, & coming to investigate every time the door opens- & I hope he still continues all this. Is it possible that he's just still recovering from the surgery last week, & that he just needs time to come back to it? Does neutering calm down every cat & make them lazy/ fat? I don't want my buddy to resent me- I really did have the cat's best interest in mind!

I was thinking about starting using a daily dewormer because of the deworming sched. at my barn(I posted about that in an earlier question) I've seen the daily dewormers but never paid a whole lot of attention to them. I've started learning about them and think it would be a good idea but I've never used them before.

I'm assuming you still worm with the paste dewormers in addition?
